The entire team from the office manager to the technician Josh was spectacular.I have a choice home warranty program that pays for new equipment if there is any defective equipment in my home. It took some time to get the go ahead to change everything out but today was the day for the new door opener to be installed. It took Josh about an hour to replace all the equipment. At the end of it all Josh swept the garage before he left.A-1 Fleet acted professionally & did a perfect job.
Called A-1 fleet door services late at night to setup an emergency door service , they came out first thing next day and sent Justin out, he was extremely knowledgeable, knew what he was doing and shared why I had the issue and what needed to be fixed/replaced. I had a previous company replace a torsion spring on this unit and they didn’t tell me what else I had to change going from a single torsion spring to a dual, and Justin lead me in the right direction on how to fix this issue so it doesn’t happen again ! 10/10 company and service I will be using them in the future !
my gigantic garage door was jammed shut because of a broken spring system. They came first thing on a Monday, and helped get my cars out. Now they are helping me with a new door! Pretty pleased with this company so far, and Diane is really great :)
I answered ads on Facebook Marketplace and was a little skeptical about contacting them. When I called they came out and we're professional and knowledgeable about their product and my husband was totally comfortable with ordering and having them install our new door.I want to say thank you to Patrick for coming out and Debra for taking the time to show me on their app how my door would look installed. Great team and very reasonably priced. Thanks again. Love my new garage door.
Horrible experience. FYI your deposit is not a hold. It is a non refundable payment. The owner explained.. “ it’s on our website to legally protect us.” No one is on google while the rep is in your house talking to you. Cheap deception. Patrick the sales rep said I could get sensors for $5 from the technician. So I ask the technician, and he says no. I contacted owner, Diane( who has horrible communication skills) and she wouldn’t honor because Patrick denied the entire conversation( I know hard to prove on my part). I get the doors installed and come home to doors that are not properly flush with the frame allowing air to easily come in. I call back to have someone come out and fix but keep getting the run around. I get a call from Home Advisor asking how the project is going. Finally they mediated the entire ordeal and helped get the sensors promised and the doors properly installed. Going forward I will never use A-1 Fleet ever. The technician returns and apologizes for the sales rep lie and the office communication. The only reason this has 1 stars is because he helped push my truck. He did try to make the scenario appear as if he’s doing me a favor... but no, you promised $5 sensors and proper installation and no cancellations so you can’t cancel either. I just want what I agreed to pay for. Simple.
