Do not use this company!!!!If you have a garage door issue go somewhere else!I had them "Fix" my garage door after three service calls that all cost $150 for installation alone, plus $550 for new springs, and my door still doesn't work!!!In fact, now it's worse!Long story short, my garage door didn't open all the way one day and when I backed out of my garage I hit it with the roof of the car!!!Now, in any other situation I'd say how Fing stupid do I have to be, right!? But this was totally not my fault. I LOOKED, I did my duty as a responsible driver to use my mirrors and backup camera, AND I m required to walk around the back of my car to get in the driver's seat. But No, none of that was good enough and now instead of owning up to their part in this accident they want to charge me for the repairs and they say the problem is something else entirely. I bought a Chamberlin garage door opener at Home Depot and had Overhead Door Company do the install. It was well worth the modest cost for the installation.First there was Connie in the office who does the scheduling. She was excellent. Cordial, efficient and a pleasure to talk to. She assigned the project to Jesus.Jesus arrived this morning (July 31) and was very professional and walked me through what he was going to do. When he finished the install, he walked me through its entire operation as well as explaining everything he had done. He answered all my questions and his explanations were simple and easy to follow. I’m a retired senior executive and had responsibility for training and development in large companies. Jesus could easily fit in as a trainer and I was really impressed with his knowledge and delivery of the information I wanted.I highly recommend ODC to anyone considering a new install of an opener. I have enough mechanical background to have done it myself, but after watching Jesus, I know he did a better job than I would have.
We were incredibly pleased with Overhead Door Company of the Desert. We had a garage door installed many years ago and recently needed maintenance/repair. The company scheduled the repair service call the same day I called and fixed the door the same day. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. The service offered by Overhead Door Company was excellent. My garage door came off the track and required significant attention. I contacted ODC in the late morning and two technicians attended my residence later in the afternoon. They completed the necessary repairs within an hour and a half. The technicians were friendly, professional and knowledgable. They worked very efficiently. I found the cost of repair to be good value. They readily dealt with a couple additional issues plaguing my garage door. At no time did I find them trying to up sell me on anything extra. They were great furnishing additional information on extending the life expectancy of my garage door. I would gladly recommend them to family or friends.
