Performance Door Service was recommended to us, and I’m very pleased with the experience. After years of dealing with a deteriorating garage door, it finally failed and became stuck in the open position.I contacted the company at 8:30 AM and was scheduled for a same-day service window between 10 AM and 12 PM. Craig arrived promptly at 10:30 AM, quickly diagnosed the issue, and presented clear repair versus new options.I chose to proceed with the recommended repairs, which were completed efficiently and to a high standard. He also installed missing components that had never been properly fitted. The door now operates smoothly, and the work is backed by a 10-year warranty.Craig was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Performance Door Service for anyone seeking reliable garage door repairs.
A technician named Craig from Performance Door Services came over to Pebble Creek retirement homes and saw a widow and try to take advantage of the situation. My Mom asked for an estimate and he convinced her that their company is compatible with rates, and he knew how to get it done.My mom called me (daughter Michele) and I started questioning her about the cost and did she get more than 1 estimate. She replied he said he could fix and she was getting frustrated and she just wanted her car out. Since I was the one paying, I went to see what was going on. Craig was done and waited for me to get there to pay.I asked him to go over the entire bill with me. Every charge I qustitioned about the fee, Craig said it compatible with other companies.I asked if he offered a discount, 1st he said their company was the cheapest and to ask around. I reminded him he was the 1st estimate and took advantage of 80 plus widow!Since the work was already done by the time I got there.I asked if had any discount or coupons. Craig said no. I continued to ask him about a discount. I asked about a military discount, basically anything. Craig agree to give her a senior citizen discount of 5%, but not once did he say ,yes, we have discounts!I checked the website, there was coupons and discounts and apparently warranties are a lifetime on the website, but we were told the warranty is only for 10 yrs. Craig told me he would take off $50.00 a spring. But when he was done he only gave a discount for one! The coupon on your site says $50.00 off any spring replacement! Either way, until I challenged him he was clearly frustrated with his condescending attitude, he made it seem like he was doing us a favor, when I knew it was advertised. Please beware of fast talking salesman that prey on senior citizens on limited incomes and resources. We're a family of military and he didn't offer that either until I asked. Most companies give a 10%-20% for military, law enforcement. We weren't offered any. I had to keep asking for a discount that their company advertised.Families with elderly parents, stay involved when a worker comes to your parents home!I also checked a compatible company, A1 Garage DoorServices, that we used before, they advertised cheaper. That's why he started the job without the quote so he knew we had to pay and he could charge more. Consumer beware!
Craig did an amazing job of repairing our garage door saving us over $2000 for a replacement. He came out immediately & fixed it the same day I called. Couldn't be happier!
Craig did a terrific job. He fixed our two garage doors to work perfectly. He was so nice - wore a mask and worked hard. We had new doors put in by a not so great company and he made them to work as they should. Thank you.
Craig was quick to reply late at night to my evening email asking about a quote to repair our broken spring. He arrived the next afternoon as scheduled. Craig explained what was wrong, how the doors work, etc. When he broke down the pricing, he gave us the best option as well as more cost effective ones. The work was done immediately and only took about 30 minutes. Craig was very pleasant, spoke well, and courteous. Thank you, Craig!!
