Reviews often mention courteous, efficient installers and solid results after installation. Several customers highlight quick turnaround on certain service calls and fair pricing for repairs. Some feedback notes communication gaps around quotes, scheduling, or status updates during longer lead times. Overall sentiment leans positive on workmanship, with occasional concerns about office follow-up.

A mixed review from me. I ordered the doors online. Didn't go to the office. The price quote that I received was not correct. I had to phone the office to get it straightened out. Didn't take long. I then waited four months for installation. No updates from the office during that time. The installers were very good. The doors seem very good quality. No problems thus far. I phoned the office right after the installation to ask about paying the final amount owing. I was told that they weren't sure how much the amount would be and that they would get back to me as soon as they had things finalized. Months went by. Nothing from the company. I finally got a fairly snarky Email from the office telling me that they were still waiting for my payment. I phoned right away and gave them the information needed to finalize things.
So in summary, the doors seem very good. Installation was good. The administration leaves a bit to be desired. I'm not sure if that is the norm for them but it leaves you with a less than favorable feeling.

Amazing service and outstanding price! I cannot recommend these folks enough. We had a spring go on our garage door and I was useless at giving them any kind of measurements or models to base their repair on. They came out earlier than what they said they could (which was only a couple days) and were prepared for any combination our door could possibly have. In and out in less than an hour and hundreds of dollars less than I expected. Top notch company from the service techs to the front end staff.

Had my garage door replaced and a new commercial grade shop door installed.
Looks and works great.
The installers were very polite and professional.
The short wait time was worth it.
Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised that my call was answered on the first ring, and that they were able to send a technician out within an hour of my call. (I live outside of Regina) He was professional, courteous, and rescued my trapped vehicle so I could go about my day. He was called to another job and had to return the following day, but within half an hour, my door was fixed, the price was very reasonable and I am a happy, repeat client. I will eventually need new garage doors, and I know which company I'll be calling first! Thanks Steel Craft for your excellent service :-)

I had Steel-Craft install an overhead garage door into my garage. The installers were very unprofessional and created a hazardous situation in my garage. Two days before the installers came, I had an electrician install a junction box on the roof of my garage. This junction box was using entirely new materials and I watched the entire installation process. The garage door installers, for some reason, drilled into the back of the electrical junction box I asked them to use hitting the wires within. It appears they then attached it to the ceiling and turned the power back on. There is a burn mark on the ceiling of the garage. When the electrician came back out, he discovered the inside of the junction box was black and one of the wires that had been damaged was still exposed. Obviously this is not something that normally happens randomly to brand new components.

When I called Steel-Craft, the manager, Juan, said that his installers did not do this. He could not provide an explanation for what happened and refused to admit that his company was at fault for this. He implied heavily that it must have been like this before or that the electrician drilled into the box despite the fact that I told him I could confirm this did not happen as I was present for the electrical installation. This was a very frustrating situation and incredibly unprofessional behavior.
