I contacted John after my garage door stopped working. I found his info on a flyer from my kids’ school and decided to give him a try. He answered right away and was able to come out the same day. After checking things out, he determined the motor had failed and I needed a new garage door opener. Also the door wasn’t opening fully. He said he could fix it.
He sent me a quote within an hour and scheduled the installation two days later. He called to let me know when he was on his way, and he and his team completed the job in just a couple of hours. The install was clean, and I’m really happy with the results. I’d definitely recommend him.

Went to open my garage door today, and it cracked open and began beeping a warning sound. The cables were sticking out of the top of my door. I don’t know anything about garage doors or their parts, so jumped on Yelp for my search for a service repairman. At 130pm, I called No Shortcut Garage Doors and John answered after 2 rings. He was able to come out to my place by 330pm. Same-day service on a Friday afternoon!

When John arrived, he explained my spring was spent and I needed to replace it. He included it would come with a warranty. John also suggested I replace my rollers to reduce the stress placed on the spring. He went over cost details and got to work. Everything was completed by 4pm by John and his associate. 30 minutes!!! I greatly value and appreciate speed, as I’m sure most people do.

Loved their availability, speed and efficiency, quality of work, pricing and sense of humor. I’m looking forward to referring them to my colleagues at my real estate brokerage. We are always looking for quality contractors, and I’ve found one with John at No Shortcut Garage Doors.

JD and Company definitely came through! Yesterday I heard a snap closing my garage door and thought something got jammed up. Unfortunately my old cables were rusted from wear and tear and snapped right off because of the tension. Gave No Shortcut Garage Doors a call and message and they answered right away! They came to my home, seen the issue and knew what was wrong. Fixed the issues in a timely manner and that’s all she wrote. Thank you guys for your amazing customer service and work! Definitely would recommend if you guys are looking to upgrade or fix your garage project!
