Recent reviews often mention punctual arrivals, clear explanations of work, and successful fixes of common issues like broken springs. Several customers appreciated real-time technician tracking and courteous service. Some reviews raised concerns about pricing clarity, scheduling delays, and cleanup after installation on certain jobs. Overall sentiment trends positive but highlights the importance of confirming estimates and timelines.
I had maintenance done on my garage door by Chad this week. He was on time, explained the work he was doing, and gave me pricing options for different maintenance packages before he did the work. He was pleasant and got the job done in a reasonable time. Overall, good experience. I would recommend OGD, and specifically, Chad.
The tech showed up on time , assesses that my garage door wheels were out on one side and immediately started to tell me that I needed to service both doors. I signed and agreed to $490. The work took 45 minutes and no parts were involved. I feel cheated. I had no idea when I signed the estimate that I would be paying $500/ hour for the service. Called company 3 times . Spoke with a manager that was no help. Outrageous!
Carlos Rojas was the consummate professional in fixing the spring in our garage door that had broken, keeping one of our cars trapped inside. The company was great at alerting us to his arrival thru their tracking map.I would say that getting an appointment took more time than we would’ve hoped and having arrival within the original time frame window are the two things to keep in mind with OGD. This has been our second service call by them and both times their service techs were fortunately worth the wait. THANK YOU CARLOS??
Delays in door delivery. Rescheduling issues. Installation problems, trash and debris ( bolts left in driveway and garage floor )took two techs to complete ( Carlos was great though- 2nd tech) scratches on door panels after first tech tried to install but didn't seem to know what he was doing.
The customer service at this company is extremely poor. I ordered a door from them and set a date for it to be installed. We pushed the date back once because of construction delays. The company then pushed us back because issues with one of their installers. Once the doors were installed, we noticed they were damaged and the tech that installed them helped us document they needed to be replaced. The company never proactively contacted me to set a time to fix the problem. I had to continuously follow up with them to ask for a re-install date. They set a date numerous times and then cancelled the re-install the day before or the day of the appointment. When the job was finally completed, they asked for my feedback. My feedback to the company:"The garage doors were installed and we and the tech noticed they were damaged. He helped us document we needed to make a warranty claim. We put in the claim and the doors finally got fixed. However, I felt that if I did not push the issue it would never have gotten replaced. Also, my re-install appointments were cancelled last minute a number of times. This was very frustrating. I also never got a call from the company with any updates, I always had to call to find out what was going on. I do feel the company should do something in order to make us feel better about them."Their reply:"We apologize for falling short of your expectations. We understand your frustration with cancelled appointments and communication gaps. Thank you."I called to tell them that their reply was not sufficient to make me feel better about their company. I was told someone would call me back to address my concerns. As you can guess that did not happen. I called them three times and finally informed them that if they did not reply I would post a negative review. Since I have not received a response, I am posting this review.
