Had our garage door replaced by OGD. It was an all around great experience. They communicated great. Prices were the best around. And the techs that did the work were professional and friendly.
I contacted the company because my garage door would not go down. I received help quickly. Ryan was quick and efficient and did a wonderful job of the repair. I also got a 30 day service guarantee on his work.
Very overpriced and disrespectful.Technician quoted 350$ plus labor to replace a circuit board. When my husband tried to explain that it has been working well for 23 years and while he understands it’s old and rusted, the circuit board was working before the technician’s arrival (the technician did say everything is working well but needs a few tweaks. He opened and closed the door several times before working on it)He then said he would find out what went wrong and give us a discounted rate. He never did. He left with the panel on the unit opened and disconnected from power. He never closed the garage door. We had to call OGD several times. We asked them to send a different technician if they can’t reach the first. They asked us to find a different company.Luckily we called overhead door systems. They are local, cordial and fair. They do not subcontract or abandon their customers. They came immediately. Fixed it for 38 dollars plus labor (10 times cheaper) they said the circuit board is great but the capacitor needed changing.
They were able to schedule me for a same day appointment for my garage door malfunction. The tech was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient with my endless questions as a first time home-owner. He was professional and personable and not a creep. I say that to say, I was home alone and didn’t feel uncomfortable with him working unattended. That’s important for single women who need service.
Customer service representatives are always so kind and so knowledgeable. I needed to someone to come out today and within an hour of my calling, they had a technician dispatched to come and repair my garage door. The technician was very efficient and very knowledgeable at his work. He finished very quickly, which I appreciated
