Adam came to my home and fixed a lot of minor issues in the house. He took care of nail pops from the house settling and did an great job in my basement with sealing the floor cracks. Adam is very observant. He found and fixed other small issues that I did not see. He is a great representative of Kay Builder's excellent service.
Adam is an amazing warranty technician, I believe that he can fix most anything… he is respectful and gets the job done. Adam has been here often for warranty repairs and the workmanship is top notch.
I wish i could give zero stars. Kay builders workmanship is very poor. We bought a house in Northampton, PA. It's been 2 years we have been emailing the customer service department for the repairs and the things that needs to be done. We have sent alottt of emails but the work is not done yet. They are very slow, no response and when they do response - they don't remember anything and say "oh that was done already". Their sales talk doesn't match the service or the quality of the work. They use third party contractors and they are no where to be found. We have been waiting on the ceiling repairs for over two years and we are still waiting. They tried to fix it twice and couldn’t fix it and now they are saying it’s part of the warranty standards and tolerances. They couldn’t fix the defects and now suddenly it’s acceptable according to them.Please check the pictures below of the ceiling and make your decision carefully before buying a house from them. They call these defects “seam lines and blemishes”. Don't fall for their fake promises and poor quality work.They asked us to delete the review in the past. I would have never left a bad review if they would have taken care of their mistakes. In addition, when they do come to fix their mistakes, they call it a “courtesy” like they did you a favor. There were so many other problems and this is just one of them. I will post the others as well.
New construction can be daunting, especially if you’re looking for a customizable home like we were. With Kay not only did we get flexibility, but we also got great support from our sales manager Pam and their sales department who were very patient walking us through the process. We were able to design a home unique to us and our style based on one of their popular floor plans by selecting from their extensive option lists as well as some special requests. And their construction team built everything to our spec with a special thanks to Galen for seeing the build through to completion. After talking with friends and relatives with newer homes from other builders we can confidently say Kay prices their options very reasonably. We’re thrilled with our new customized Kay home and looking forward to many years enjoying it!A quick updated picture now that our lawn and initial landscaping was installed and had some time to take after being a winter build. We are very happy with the progress in our new Kay house in just a few months since closing.
