Well, it's official! We've bought a property in this amazing community, and we're just buzzing about it. The craftsmanship and quality from this builder are genuinely top-notch – you can really see it. As first-time homebuyers, we definitely had our moments of being a little overwhelmed, but the Brock Built team was absolutely brilliant. They were incredibly supportive from the initial offer, through all the negotiations, the inspection, and patiently addressing every concern we had. A special shout-out to Tony Kelby and Tom; they were exceptionally helpful right from the beginning all the way past closing. A huge thank you to Brock Built for building our beautiful home and for making this entire process such a pleasure to go through!
I want to leave an honest review because it seems negative reviews keep disappearing, which doesn’t feel very transparent. If this one gets taken down, I’ll be sharing it on Facebook and Reddit as well.I currently rent a townhome in the first row facing the street. The homes themselves are beautiful, but there are many issues that anyone considering buying or renting here should be aware of:• Constant Construction: Be prepared to wake up every morning at 7am. Large machinery, boards, and crews are always on the roads.• Parking & Garage Size: The one-car garage is so small most people park in their driveway or along the road.• Noise Levels: The walls are very thin—you can hear neighbors’ music and conversations daily.• Dog Park Issues: The gates don’t latch properly, the trash cans are constantly full, and litter builds up.• Lack of Community Amenities: Despite homes priced over $1.5M, there hasn’t been a single HOA-hosted event. There’s a model home, but no wine nights, no wood by the fireplace, no active garden, no clubhouse, and no pool—just ponds. Most other Alpharetta/Roswell communities with lower-priced homes have far better amenities.• Value for Renters: I’m paying $3,300/month here and honestly received more amenities and benefits renting a downtown Alpharetta apartment.Maybe things will change in a couple of years once retail spaces are built out, but as it stands, this community is overpriced and underdelivers. For now, I would strongly recommend passing on The Gathering until major improvements are made. If I had to go back, I would absolutely not choose to rent in this community.
We’ve lived in Alpharetta for years, and The Gathering is easily one of the nicest new communities we’ve seen. The build quality stands out, and the builder clearly puts care into every detail.
Brock Built nailed it with The Gathering. The homes are thoughtfully designed with modern touches and spacious layouts. The neighborhood has a warm, welcoming vibe, and it’s close to great schools and shops.
The Gathering- Alpharetta is amazing! Brock Built has always done tremendous work, so it’s only fitting that they would be behind this awesome project. Beautiful homes and lots of fun things to do.
