What customers say

Buyers appreciate helpful, caring support during the home purchase; one credits Eva with helping the purchase go smoothly. The feedback is mixed: a flooring complaint describes drywall dust and chalk lines sealed over, with rough sanding and sheen differences after an attempted correction; a separate yard-related account describes constant flooding, a fence nearly falling over, interior defects and a warranty ticket without follow-up.

BlueHaven Homes has been excellent to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone. The company has bent over backwards to help us with anything we needed! Christine and Cynthia have been a delight to work with. We look forward to many years in our BlueHaven Home!!

We're very happy we had such caring people to make our dream come true. And to help make it possible for us. We're still so excited. And still can't believe it. But with God all things are possible.

FLOORING DISASTER! The builder stands firm on these floors being “show grade “ level. These floors are extremely disappointing!!! I was rudely told I expected level of perfection. It is clear by these photos that a rushed and poor effort was placed on the floors at the last minute. Drywall dust and chalk lines were sealed over. A lot of the corner areas do not even have sealer and have drywall dust and even tape left. The floors around the toilets were not sealed around the backside. There was an effort made to correct the floors, however it’s very challenging to fix a floor completed wrong from the start. When the flooring workers did come, it was an hour of effort and then gone. It was bare minimum effort of fixing. Now throughout the house I have places that have been sanded rough, but not made smooth and streak lines in hallways where there is two different sheens. Stain along baseboards everywhere! My realtor told me they are the worst floors she’s seen in any home! I had a good experience building a new house until the end. This took the joy away from the moving into a brand new home! So disappointed!!!

Improper grading of my yard leading to constant flooding, muddy conditions and fence is nearly falling over. I was advised at walkthrough the fence was going to be fixed. Have been submitting warranty tickets for nearly four months and I was advised the area would be properly graded prior to new sod being laid. There is absolutely no drainage in this large area of my yard. Area is now flooded again just from my neighbors watering their lawn. Work tickets marked as completed prior to issues being addressed. DOCUMENT everything if you choose to go with this builder. Would be curious to know how many BBB complaints are already in existence as the improper grading seems to be a common occurrence. They will write you off and send contractors to do work that does not align with what they say will be done. This has occurred twice now. If you are looking to purchase a “finished yard”, this is not it. As far as interior- cabinets fall off the hinges, doors do not close, and windows are constantly filled with dirt due to improper sealing. Mirrors hung in bathroom also have cracked frames. Definitely a lack of attention to detail. Update: photos of the post-“fix” done by their contractor uploaded. Have submitted another warranty ticket and do not receive a follow-up. I have been told this has been escalated 3 times with no call back. I was advised by Bluehaven that a French drain could be put in to solve the drainage problem when we met in early August- citing how easy it is to place a French drain. They opted to instead use the same contractor that has only worsened my yard, and bring a couple wheelbarrows of dirt/sand in to solve this problem. Now experiencing water draining onto my patio and all my sod has died. The contractors also buried a sprinkler head under dirt and sod, creating a foot deep crater under my yard when the pipe finally broke. As evidenced by the recent photos- nothing has been properly fixed and I have been waiting weeks to even hear an update from Bluehaven.
