I love selling N&B homes. Jet always explains everything so great to my clients and does quality work. His customer service sets my mind at ease as the Realtor and my clients as well. That way we can just focus on moving in!
I have been renting with N & B Homes since 2023 and cannot recommend them enough! Not only are the homes beautiful but Jessica Ditzler is fantastic! She replies back within minutes and finds a solution to any problem. (Not like we’ve had many, but when unexpected issues arise she jumps to help!) This has been a fantastic fit for my little family and I look forward to working with them for the foreseeable future! :)
I see some of these low reviews and have to wonder, if there was something in the past that has drastically changed since? We bought our home, new construction, right at two months ago. Absolutely beautiful home and well priced! It wasn't exactly what I originally wanted, but when I expressed that to them, they asked what would make it perfect? I told them, within a month, they added an indoor fireplace, put the tiled flooring throughout the whole house, and expanded our fence to fill the whole property line. After that we closed quickly. I only had a few issues once we moved in, same with any house in my eyes, and I called Rowdy and he had people there the SAME day and fixed me right up! Nothing I have brought up hasn't been fixed. I have had nothing but a GREAT experience with everyone from the owner, office staff, Rowdy, and the contractors. So I am not sure where bad reviews come from, but I can't sing their praise enough to be honest!! I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times, for SURE!!
We bought a five year old N&B house and have been very disappointed in the quality of workmanship. The most glaring problem is the framing for the roof. We kept hearing a banging (popping) noise in our living room. My son came over and we went into the attic to investigate. We were really disturbed at what we found. About ten feet of one of the main 2x8 headers, which hold up the roof rafters, had come loose and was hanging down on the end about six inches. The 2x4 brace (which helps hold up the 2x8) had came loose and was hanging off the point where it had been braced. My son took one of the boards and moved it up and down and we could see the roof moving in that spot. If the brace on the other side had came loose, the whole section could have fell onto the ceiling. You can see a sag in the roof from outside. We braced the roof the best we could. A one year warranty should be thrown out the window on a major issue like this but N&B doesn't care. A reputable company should take pride in their work but that's not the case here.Other issues show the quality of work is not there. The master bathroom door will not shut because the striker plate was not installed properly. The texture on a lot of the walls and ceilings is worse than in the manufactured home that I just sold. The dishwasher was installed at a big angle. The bottom was in more than two inches than the top. There was a hole around the dryer vent where bugs or mice could get in. When the hot water in the guest bathroom begins to warm up the wall behind the mirror cracks so loud it sounds like the wall is breaking apart. Some of these may be small issues but they show poor workmanship from N&B homes.
I've been in my N&B home for a year and a half now and I've had several positive experiences with Tommy and his crew. Recently, I needed help with my AC unit and subsequently touch up painting. Everything went smoothly on the admin end and the painters did an excellent job too. I really appreciate their willingness to help me considering my one year warranty is up. Home ownership can be stressful but N&B folks have been great!
