J Paul Builders

JPaul Builders exceeded our expectations. And that is never said about builders! We've had plenty of experience with home builders and contractors. Maryland is our 4th state, and we’re in our 5th house. Our project was a complete gut and some structural changes of our first level and bathroom remodeling on second level. As well as a new back porch and deck. It was a tremendous project. We moved out for over six months but stayed close by. Steven knew how to keep us on schedule by alerting us to the decisions that needed to be made timely. He was incredibly professional and proficient. Emails and texts were answered swiftly. Steven was a constant presence during and after the project completion. We can still count on him for input & advice four years later. After all of our home renovation and new-build experiences, we can unequivocally say that JPaul is the best we have ever encountered. The project was completed timely and the follow-up was amazing. That’s the part you’ll never know about: will they live up to their warranty? YES! They did! They came right back to help resolve any surprises, and just as promptly as when they were here during the project. As the customer, we also did our part by making decisions on a timely basis and keeping up our end of the contract. Steven could only do as much as we provided. Our advice to anyone doing a major renovation or new build: do your part to stay organized and make decisions, accept that it will be messy and unfortunate surprises are inevitable, and hire JPaul Builders!

Endeavoring in having a very custom and complex house built is taking a giant step into a project of incredible magnitude. We entrusted JPaul Builders to make our dream/fantasy come true. From the first shovel in the ground to its completion 2 years later, JPaul proved day-in and day-out why they are recognized as being at the top of their class. Although JPaul had a full-time Superintendent on the job, Paul or Steven Lichter visited our site almost everyday. They took total ownership of the project by watching over virtually every single detail. Our home was their 7th built and/or renovated in Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, MD. We originally considered what we were building to be our Dream Home. Having lived in it for 15 months, it’s really our Fantasy Home. Thank you JPaul Builders!!

Tell any of your friends or colleagues that you're embarking on a major renovation, with a timeline and a budget, and they'll laugh at you -- unless they've worked with J Paul Builders. We completed a major project with them on-time and on-budget, and could not be happier with the work. I attribute this to extreme attention to detail, excellent coordination with the design team, and top 1% relationships with sub-contractors (of the highest quality) that ensured our job was consistently staffed and work done on time. I highly, highly recommend. Contact me anytime for more information.

Working with JPaul Builders was a wonderful experience! We were very impressed with the other homes that they have built, and after great research and thought we knew that our best choice was to work with Paul. The committed to us and working with Paul were his professionalism and the fact that he takes his work very seriously. It was also extremely easy to work with Paul and his entire team.
