Steve Bennett Builders

My husband and I chose Steve Bennett to be the General Contractor for our custom home build in Bend, Oregon and we have been grateful to have him guiding our project from day one. Steve helped us every step of the way from finding a good match in an architect, to facilitating all interactions with the city and permitting, staffing our job with an experienced and foreman and expert finish carpenter, carefully scheduling subcontractors and recommending only people he trusts and has years of experience with. Steve gave us excellent advice as we encountered difficult decisions and expenditures. He was available and communicative and he listened to our needs and concerns and addressed them with professionalism, integrity and a can-do problem solving attitude at every turn. His sterling reputation as a custom home builder precedes him as we learned time and again when we would interact with subs or retail establishments in Bend; people knew him by name and would tell us what "good hands" we were in. Everything about our project was custom and required exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, and Steve and his team delivered. Steve made a challenging process more enjoyable and gave us confidence that our money was well spent and we could rest easy that the job was being done right - that peace of mind was priceless. I would not hesitate to partner with him again on any custom home project.

Steve Bennett of Bennett Builders is one of our favorite builders to work with. Steve has extensive experience with so many styles of homes he is always a great fit for our projects, and we know the homes we design will be completed to the highest level of quality. Steve has an amazing attention to detail and always wants to get things right for the integrity of the design and for the clients. Steve is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever met, and when our clients are building a multi-million dollar home it gives us great piece of mind to know that they are going to be taken care of, during the construction process and for years beyond the completion of their home. -Jim Tebbs, LEED AP Tebbs Design Group

I have worked with Steve Bennett on a number of projects, and he has consistently proven to be one of the best contractors to work with. He is personable and honest. He has produced custom homes of the highest quality, on time and on budget. I would highly recommend hiring him...oh, I did hire him to build the addition to my own home. He was great to work with.

My husband and I have had many homes built over the years, all with positive results. However in constructing our current home, we hired Steve Bennett as our builder and it was the most wonderful experience possible. Steve is not only an impressively talented contractor, showing much attention to detail, staying efficient, timely and within budget constraints, bringing both an engineering and an artistic side to his building projects....but he is also a stellar individual. You could not find a more honest, ethical and conscientious person who truly cares about his finished products and his clients. As it turns out, we have since become life-long friends. We would never choose to build another home unless he was on board with us, nor could we recommend him any higher to someone looking for a custom builder.

I have know Mr. Bennett for years. He had coordinated a remodel for my wife and I. I have been able to walk through many of his new construction projects. He is of the highest integrity. He is an excellent communicator. He is hardworking, punctual, and committed to detail. Finding a reliable builder in Central Oregon can be a challenge. The hot housing market and abundance of work, at some level has compromised the customer service. Steve Bennett takes on only a few projects at a time, so he can commit his full attention and service to his product. His work is impeccable.
