My husband and I purchased our home six years ago. We were excited and chose Caruso due to their sleek and creative designs. We had moved from a home that we had built by Haverford which was nice also. The process was smooth with a few hiccups but they were handled. Less than year of being in our home the carpets bubbled so they came out and repaired but other rooms have bubbled since. We also had to get some boards repaired on the hard wood flooring not far after moving in. Now right before six years, the brick mortar is washing away around the front porch and garage leaving holes. Even though Caruso was much sleeker and allowed more personal design, I never had any issues with my first home built by Haverford and we were there for 12 years. I now have to hire a company to come out and assess the issue. I'm not happy about this.We paid alot of money for this home and this should not be happening.
We’ve just sign a full contract for a to-be-built single family home in a Caruso community, and would recommend Caruso for anyone who want to build their dream home.We had met many builders over a few years while looking to build our dream home. Caruso homes, while not a custom builder, we are impressed how much customization they were able to do. Our sales manager Gar Edmondson was extraordinary. He is wonderful person to work with and was very patient with our hundreds of questions and requests through many emails and phone calls. He is super responsive. He will try his best to make your home your dream home. Caruso team create a brand new first floor master suite for us. This level of customization was impressive as a semi-custom, or non-custom builder. The neighboring Toll bros community wouldn’t even take down a small non-load bearing wall.We also met Jim Trotter, construction superintendent who was so organized and detail oriented and clean, you can trust things will go as planned. We are looking forward to the actual building process from here on!
