We couldn’t be happier with our new home! The entire team was a pleasure to work with, they listened carefully to our needs and provided expert guidance in a prompt timeframe. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly impressive. We highly recommend FIELDSTONE FAMILY HOMES.
If I could give a ZERO star to this company I would. This company only cares to building and selling without having things done correctly. This home in Dundas is a brand new construction home and only been here since August 2022. During the first month and until now we continue to have problems. Here are the list of things we had problems;- Sliding door was not installed properly. Water would leak from the top edge of the door during rain/storms.- Dents/bumps in the carpet.- Switchs not screwed properly.- Cheap door hinges.- Walls are not straight.- Problems with main front door. Not closing properly.- Storm door wood frame cracked.- Dishwasher not installed properly (detach from the counter).- A/C unit went out just now.- Leaks from laundry hose.- Heating unit went out.- Breaker box would go out.I wish I could have more pictures. Pictures would be sent to the fieldstone builders to get things fix and show proof but no longer have them. Customer service is horrible. We would call Fieldstone to schedule the repairs all within months of moving to get things done, but not show up upon scheduled days and times. And continue to be like that until the one year warranty is up to have the excuse to say “Your one year warranty is up”. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to have your home built. They only care about building fast without being careful of the details.
Met Bryan Wolfe recently and honestly, he’s just a super cool guy. Easy to talk to, fun to be around, and you can tell right away he really enjoys life and cares about the people close to him. That’s rare these days. What really impressed me was how well he understands that every family has its own unique needs, especially when it comes to children. You can tell he genuinely pays attention to those details and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. He’s also very mindful about safety, which says a lot about his professionalism.Plus, seeing him play with his little granddaughter was really touching. It showed a different side of him—a genuinely caring person beyond just being professional.Based on the way he pays attention to details and cares about people, I’d have no hesitation recommending him to friends or family who are looking to build a home. He made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and it’s clear why so many people think highly of him. I’m glad to have met him.
From our very first meeting with the team, we were impressed with their professionalism, thoughtfulness, and organization. I can honestly say, I enjoyed the experience of building a home, and I don’t think most people walk away with that experience. They worked efficiently and diligently to keep the project on track. When we had concerns, they were transparent and we worked together to come up with a satisfactory solution for all. Jeff was the best job supervisor. He answered all of my questions, and there were a lot of them, he was very organized and thorough. Sara was an incredible sounding board and an exceptional designer. Bryan, Tadd and Trent work harmoniously and worked so hard to ensure our satisfaction, it’s no wonder they have such a great team. We absolutely love our new home and would recommend Fieldstone to anyone considering new construction.
THE SEARCH IS OVER!!! EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!!!So like many of you, I did A LOT of research. In fact, I spent about 2 years doing my homework and checking out each and every builder. Like many shoppers, the 1st thing I was comparing was cost. When comparing apples to apples, Fieldstone is the best value. I was pleasantly surprised when I understood exactly what was included without having to pay for an upgrade. That was just the beginning though! Yes, they are the best value, but their customer service and quality is next to none!My first point of contact with Fieldstone was Bob Johnson. He's a fantastic realtor and he truly goes out of his way to make sure you're a happy customer. He was not pushy and he truly listened to my wants, needs, etc. He didn't stop moving until we put together exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Bob!!Then I had the pleasure of working with Bryan Wolfe. I could tell almost immediately how passionate he was for building homes. His intelligence, professionalism, and the joy he brought to this project was incredible! Thanks Bryan!!My house building Supervisor was Jeff Hoehn. He has a very difficult job and Jeff did a fantastic job working with someone like me, I'm extremely picky! Anytime I was nervous about anything, he could sense it, and he was quick to tell me "Andrew, let me do the worrying for you, everything is ok". Thanks Jeff!!Throughout the entire process I communicated with Robin Langness. She is a machine and time after time, overly impressed with her responsiveness and professionalism. Thanks Robin!!The entire team was fantastic and they actually made it so much fun!! I've already been thinking about my next build with Fieldstone Family Homes.I hope this can help some people that are in the same position I was about a year ago. Check them out and you will not be disappointed!Sincerely,Andrew Kline
