Riverbank built a mother in law unit onto our house several years ago. Did a great job and were great to work with. One of the workers even went out of his way to help rescue our cat from a tree! Seriously. We’re still very happy with the unit (as is my MIL). But somehow the painting subs did a bad job on the exterior paint & it soon began to discolor & peel. It was clear (to other painters who came to do unrelated work) that the painting subs had either painted only with primer, or skipped the primer altogether. But when we contacted Riverbank, they used every excuse in the book to not repaint it for us. Clearly it still rankles with me! We finally paid to have it repainted ourselves this spring. Annoying, esp since it sullied what had otherwise been a great experience with them.
