Our attempted purchase fell apart because we were uncomfortable with the process—Seapac Homes pushed us to use their preferred lender and would not accept outside financing. We were told they wouldn’t proceed with the sale if we used our own lender, which felt inappropriate and undermined trust in the transaction.
There are other builders who don’t restrict buyers this way, so if transparency and choice matter to you, consider looking elsewhere.

I bought a brand-new home from Seapac a few years ago, and now that I’ve been living here for a while, I’m genuinely shocked by how poor the overall quality is.

One of the most dangerous issues is that there are countless nails sticking up through the carpet, making it a hazard to walk around the house. When I reported this to Seapac, I was told it was “normal.” I honestly can’t believe that response — what kind of torture chamber do they think people live in?

There have been multiple other problems as well. Every time I hire a contractor to fix something, they comment on how poorly the house was built. It’s honestly laughable at this point.

If you're thinking of buying from Seapac, I strongly recommend doing a very thorough inspection — or better yet, looking elsewhere.

While glowing reviews can often be encouraged, critical ones tend to come from genuine experience — and that, I believe, speaks for itself.

The quality of the construction is still impressive, and we love the open-concept design, especially the large kitchen island. We’re both chefs, so the kitchen has become our favorite part of the house. The natural light that pours in through the windows creates such a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Two years later, we’re still thrilled with our choice!
