$300 HOA and They did not clear the snow despite us calling 3 times a day on snow day. We had to get it done after we realized that all homes around us are done and they will simply ignore our. Spring came, all homes got new mulch and grass cut. We kept calling. Finally after few months somebody said „we forgot to put you on maintenance list. Now the house itself - it’s a joke. External walls are paper thin, between exterior sliding and drywall there is only weather proof that is so thin my kid can a hole with a pencil. Since we moved in it’s only problems - defective smoke detectors, faucet that falls off from shower (builder grade btw, nothing luxurious), uneven floor, cheapest paint. If „new” means „luxury” then good luck! Take a close look how they building the homes and what materials they using because one strong wind and your home will be gone! Do yourself a favor and if you want new home - build it yourself, no matter what will be 100x better than this.

Quick update. They are now building 2 story family homes in what is advertised as a ranch section. Fischer Homes cannot be trusted. Many issues with this builder. The worst being that the house was not ready for occupancy at closing. I waited a few months to see if things improved but they have not. Terrible landscaping package and an even worse landscape company. Must be their first build in Indianapolis and they got the worst subcontractors. Don’t be fooled by the rating, there are several 5 star reviews by people trying to get clicks. 2 homeowner reviews at 1 star each.

Be careful building with Fischer Homes! They planted different types of grass seed in our lawn and now we have multiple types of grass that look totally different. After many attempts on our part to get them to remedy this matter, they’re refusing to reseed our lawn with a uniform seed per our contract. Our yard looks awful. I don’t recommend building a home with Fischer.

Edit: Despite Fischer's comment about "a member of our management teach" being in touch, no one has contacted me about my lawn. They're still refusing to fix it.
