Our home building experience with Quality Crafted Homes started by touring some of their model homes. It was during one of these tours that we saw a large hidden pantry which started our journey down the home building path. That hidden pantry and a nice size storage room became two elements that were paramount in our custom design of a ranch home without stairs. Quality Crafted Homes individuals who led us through the design and building process were flawless with their desire to help us build a home that would meet our needs. We cannot say enough about the quality of work from all contractors. We would absolutely recommend Quality Crafted Homes to anyone interested in making their dreams of a new home a reality!

What a blessing it was to choose Quality Crafted Homes to build our new home…. From our first contact with Scott, to having Greg as our designer, and Sarah and Rachel to assist with décor decisions, and timing – we couldn’t have hoped for a better, more conscientious team. From design ideas to how our home is “tilted” on our lot, they were always attentive to our questions, concerns, and whims… They kept us “in the loop” every step along the way. We appreciate the relationship each of them builds with their customers.
The many “touches” they added were well thought-out, and Greg’s knack for design really made for the “Wow factor… We are still in wonder of the whole process…. Everyone at QCH helped to make it a most pleasurable experience…. Even in the midst of so many choices, and decisions…

We absolutely love the build we did with Quality Crafted Homes. The finish is high quality resulting in a beautiful home.

The only reason not giving five stars is due to some challenges mid build with change of personnel resulting in some delays and poor communication from the replacement, but it was sorted pretty quickly once the issue was raised. Shout out to Scott for sorting things out!

Overall, we are VERY happy with the outcome and would build with them again.

Like craftsman tools, They are riding their old name with a crap new product. The quality craft of the past is no more. don’t be fooled by there reviews of old. They are not the same company. They are now a very unorganized rude company. They don’t care about you. They will string you along and never follow up. We have been in our house since January and they still aren’t done. Work is subpar. I see no difference in quality between our granite ridge home we built 8 years ago and this home quality crafted built. Only difference is the 2x6 walls and the massive price tag quality crafted has. Save your self 100’s of thousands of dollars. Our issue started in the beginning. I wanted both lots and owner went back and forth for month on if he would sell me both. He finally decided to sell both to us, but raised price on lots because he wouldn’t be building another house on lot 3. He signed a agreement with me stating I was able to buy both lots at a set amount with my septic to be on lot 3 which they said was approved by Allen County ( I have documents)so I could do whatever I wanted with the rest of land in the future. Allen county said I couldn’t put septic on lot 3 , they moved it back to lot 2 and now I can never sell any of the land cause of the lay out. They never were able to sell or build on lot 3 and took full advantage of me with lies. From there the whole build process was a nightmare. Different stories from everyone that works there when asked questions. Never answers questions or follow up with anything. They don’t care. We started to call contractors ourselves cause you couldn’t believe what they told us. See pics for many of the issues we faced. Backing up barn drain still not fixed, sinking deck, see deck picture they thought that was finished. flickering lights, bad cabinets, stained concrete, tile touching, open area for birds, cracked grout. Carpet seems showing, scratched windows, cracked basement floor, crooked beam, 2 different color stain, and much much more. This is just a example of the issues. Yes they have fixed some of them but all after we have moved in meaning many missed days of work and pay to be home for them to fix . This cost me money every time to be home for their mistakes with no compensation for my lost wages. This isn’t a smear, simply our experience and true issues we had. If you do decide to build with them, make sure you get everything that is in your contract. Before you sign to build with this over priced company, ask your self this .. if they are using the same contractors (electrician plumper hvac home lumber) as a builder that is much less , is a quality crafted home built home any better to justify price if it is same person doing the work? You can pick all the same finishes from the other builder and same person is installing it at a much lower price and less headaches.

We have been so happy with our Quality Crafted home since we moved in, September 2020. We love our pond lot and the view we have of trees around the pond. We built during Covid so some of our building supplies were difficult to find, but Quality Crafted builders continued to work to finish our home on time. The building process was very easy, we enjoyed watching the changes day to day. The quality of the contractors who built cabinets, the island in the kitchen, electrical, plumbing, painters, ceramic floors and shower, bricklayers and finishing work were all very skilled and did an excellent job for us. We would definitely build with Quality Crafted again. However, we love our home so much we have no plans to ever leave.
