We built a new home a year ago our hvac system is unable to provide any airflow for the second floor our garage door won’t open the warranty department just pushes the problem over to their subcontractors.
Their interiors and design is great it just seems like the quality of construction is not up to standard
If I was in the market for a new house I would think twice before I built another edge home.

Edge Homes won't due their due diligence during construction of a new community, and then charge the homeowners up to $1,000 to pay to fix THEIR mistake. We should not be responsible for the shortcomings of Edge Homes, yet they fail to claim responsibility.

We sold our old home faster than we anticipated and found ourselves racing to find a new home. After a week and a half of searching, we found Edge. They had a spec home ready with everything on our wishlist! The home is beautiful, in a great location, and everything we hoped for. And not only that, but the agent who helped us took her time to show us around the neighborhood. She got to know us and spent the time to understand our situation. She then rallied all of the forces we needed to get the home under contract and purchased. I will never buy another home from a different builder. Edge wins!

Buyers beware! One of the reasons I liked Edge was because of the floor plan. A coworker of mine had a friend who built with edge , and had a horrible experience. They cut corners, and other issues.
I let that slide thinking that they had other good feedback, and maybe it was just that one person. This would be my 3rd home so I knew what to look for.
Well things were good at first , but when it came to the bidding process on A lot, we thought that was odd. Yes.... you have to bid on a lot. Throwing an extra 20k just to stay competitive with other bidders. Also, they stated are odds would be slim if we used an agent, and pushed to opt out on useing a realtor. We didn't get the bid, which was good because we found out that they are the only builder doing this bid on a lot process. Plus we did a walk through of a standard edge home, not very many upgrades just to see the quality of standard vs upgrades to get an idea how far our money can go with upgrades, and the standard finishes are very poor quality. It's like walking into a 2000 - 2004 home, but after looking at other home builders, we found others builders have way better quality standard finishes . Like granite instead of laminate in the half baths, better standard light fixtures, and other small details people don't look at , or forget to look at.
Other builders
1. don't have you bid on alot. 2.bigger lot sizes for better pricing.
I recommend you do your full homework before going with edge.
After looking at other options and doing research, edge contacted us a week later to let us know a lot is available, but we needed to increase the house amount, and said to bid 30k on the lot premium this time instead of 20k to stay competitive. No other builder has ever stated that to us.
Well..... go pack sand Edge. Finding better quality builders, more land sizes , for the same amount we would have put down on an Edge home.
I would say scammers for sure.

We staying the process in April 2019 expecting to move in Jan 2020 and our house was finished and ready by October! We had a great experience and got everything we were looking for. This was also the most affordable option to us. We spent a long. Time going through houses and met with several builders. Any repairs we have asked for have been FEW, minor and done quickly. They also did our front yard for us which was included. We are so happy and love our home ??
