My husband and I selected Ed Flynn to build our beachfront home on Hilton Head Island. Working with Ed was a genuine pleasure. He is everything you would want your contractor to be - experienced, knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, willing and able to accommodate requested changes during the construction process, honest and readily accessible at all times. Our home was completed two years ago and we absolutely love it and still stay in touch with Ed.

Ed Flynn of Hilton Head Builders recently completed our oceanfront home on Hilton Head Island. The project was under Ed's close daily supervision from start to finish. Ed has decades of experience with oceanfront building, and it showed.

Ed and I interfaced, in person or by phone when I was not available locally, at least every couple of days and on many occasions multiple times daily to ensure that our family's dreams came true with our home. Ed's knowledge and expertise lead to many "on the fly" improvements to our home during the building process, which helped us complete the perfect "beach home" for our family.

The sub-contractors were diligent and skilled in their respective crafts. As we went through the process I found that these craftsmen were loyal to Ed and gave our project priority, so that we proceeded quickly and finished with an excellent quality home, extremely well built with great finishes.

I had interviewed other well respected builders, but feel that none of the others could have matched Ed's hands on approach, his level of personal experience and his ability to bring suggestions and work with me to affect the best outcome with each change order or other decision we made throughout the building process.

Building a home can be a monumental chore or a wonderful chance to recognize your dream and having fun in the process. My wife and I found that working with Ed produced the enjoyable process we were hoping for in building our dream home.

We hired Hilton Head Builders on the recommendations of neighbors to build our house near the beach. This was our first time building so we were nervous but Ed Flynn made it extremely easy for us. He was there to guide us through all of the different choices for fixtures, finishes, appliances, etc.and he was able to save us money along the way. Our job site was always clean when we would stop by and we were amazed at how quickly everything took place. We have been in our house for 8 months now and couldn't be happier.

I recently built a ocean front home using Ed Flynn of Hilton Head Builders. I found Ed to be extremely knowledgeable about the building codes and requirements in the Hilton Head area. He not only is a very competent general contractor but has a understanding of what is involved with all of the different trades that are necessary in the construction of a new home. He was accessible and helpful in some of the decisions you must make while building.
