Malcom Homes is a highly professional company, comparable to fine aged wine. Paul Douglas and his team are exceptional professionals who are respectful, punctual, and budget-conscious. It was a pleasure to work with them. Paul and his crew pay great attention to detail at every stage of the house build, ensuring that even the smallest aspects are not overlooked. Our custom-designed house was built with tremendous passion and care. Importantly, since we did not want subtrades from other cities, Paul Douglas has an excellent local team that completed the project from start to finish in every area of construction. We would highly recommend Malcom Homes!

Picking up the pieces and starting work in a very short timeframe in the fall, Malcolm Homes jumped into sorting out the chaos around the existing TNRD permitting, and ensuring the build was completed to lockup before the weather became an issue. The crews and trades that were on site through the course of the build were all courteous and professional from start to finish. Our completed home was exactly as we had envisioned and I would happily recommend Malcolm Homes to anyone.

We were looking to demolish our sunroom and then build a two-story addition in its place. At the time I had no idea who to contact. I stumbled upon Malcolm Homes and I couldn’t be any happier with their work. Paul made me feel comfortable with what was going on. The crew was professional, punctual, and just a bunch of nice guys. They built the structure up to the point we wanted and were always available to answer questions. The price was competitive to begin with but I couldn’t imagine finding a better contractor, which is worth paying more for (even though we didn’t). Through just dumb luck and a short discussion with Paul, we made our decision and I am happy to say that our experience with Malcolm Homes couldn’t have been any better. I don’t write these reviews often, but I felt that this is the kind of contractor you want when looking and if this review helps the company or the potential client at all, it was more than worth my time.
My wife still sings their praises as it is now a year and a half later and we have had absolutely NO problems with any of the work they did.

Every person we had contact with, from the owners of the company, Paul and Lori, to the home designer, Ivory, and our Project Manager, Brent, as well as each of the trades people made us feel totally confident that our home would be fantastic. And it is!!! Malcolm homes is very detail oriented and cared about the final outcome of our home just as much as we did. If a build is in your future, don't hesitate to use Malcolm Homes.
