I’ve really enjoyed living here. It’s a quiet neighborhood where people are friendly but mostly keep to themselves, which makes it peaceful. The community has great amenities like a pool, basketball and pickleball courts, and a nice playground for kids. It’s also a great area to walk around.The location is convenient with a Poco Loco grocery store close by in either direction, and the area keeps growing—we recently got a gas station and childcare center, and there’s talk of an elementary school being built nearby.The homes are beautiful and there are several builders to choose from. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the community landscaping could be better maintained. Overall though, it’s a great place to live.
I've lived in Crosswinds for almost 2 years., yes there have been ongoing issues with the pool (likely installed poorly). The folks here are nice, and friendly. There is continued development. It's important to know this community is *not within the Kyle city limits so the city laws do not apply here.
It has been six years, and the pool has NEVER looked like advertised. Sales lies. I was told it would be a small community with only one phase, as this was what I wanted, but now we are bombarded with extra phases and more to come. For this reason, the HOA will not be in control of the community, and the management is terrible. Also, water here is priced like gold, they won't disclose how much more we pay being in MUD.
