I started doing research over 10 years ago knowing that I was going to build my next home on property I had bought. Over those years I went to countless parade of homes and out of all the local known builders in Lakeland, I was drawn to Hickman Homes. The level of craftsmanship, top notch tradesmen they use, level of professionalism is what you will get when doing business with Hickman Homes and they delivered. When Hunter Hickman builds your house, he will give your house the attention needed as if it was his own home being built. They have an office of professionals (Jessica is awesome) that will give you their undivided attention to help you through the process making is as seamless and stress free as possible. Very displeased with the contractors that they hire that built our house. First it was the granite was cut wrong. About a year later the roof was leaking. Now we have a hole in the ceiling right where the leak was. Finally, the stair railing fell off the wall going up the stairs. it seems that it was not put into the studs. it was being held to the wall with anchors. Wouldn't think that was up to code

We had the privilege to have Hickman's home build our house. It was our first time building,and it was in the middle of the Pandemic, but the whole process was very easy with them despite all the challenges of that time! From beginning to finish we were guided through out all steps, which made things very comfortable for us. A special shout out to Hunter Kickman, who was always available and helped us with everything we needed. Look no further. I highly recommend Hickman's home.
