I wish there were an option below one star! We recently discovered serious issues with the windows in our Avenola-built home. The glass seals have failed, causing fog, water leakage, and cold air to enter the house. When we contacted Avenola for help, we were told the warranty expired years ago and that nothing could be done — even though both our home inspector and an insurance specialist confirmed that the glass quality was extremely poor and should never have failed this early. As new homeowners, we expected better accountability and quality from a company of Avenola’s size. We also reached out to Ply Gem, who supplied the windows, but neither company has taken responsibility. It’s extremely disappointing to see such limited support for customers facing clear product defects. I also noticed that in other customer reviews, some people mentioned that even after their warranty had expired, Avenola replaced their furnace at no cost — yet in our case, we received no proper assistance. While we love our home’s design, the poor insulation, low-quality materials, and lack of after-sales support have left us deeply frustrated. I sincerely hope Avenola reevaluates how they handle customer issues, because at this point, I cannot recommend this builder to anyone considering a home in Lethbridge.

Ron Tyslau ( Customer Experience Manager) . I got an issue with my furnace. Which is already fixed with the help of Ron. I was out of warranty but still Ron helped me out over and beyond. He covered all the expenses to fixed it. Very much appreciated Ron! We look forward to buy the bigger home with Avonlea Homes… Thank you

John Daminato was really amazing! This was my first home-buying experience and he made sure all my questions and concerns were answered and handled very well. Ron has been really thorough and helpful with getting me settled in. Overall great experience so far!

From the time alora and I spoke to the Avon Lee team about wanting to build a home to getting the keys on possession date, it was an absolutely fantastic process. They nailed it! John Daminato, our salesman, had our back and was with us every step of the way. The communication between us, John, and the Avon Lee team was great.With weekly updates on the build , addressing all of our concerns, and answering every little question that we had. The quality of the build was 5/5 and everything we wanted touched up and changed was addressed immediately. Solid customer service. We want to thank the Avon Lee team for building us our dream home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
