South Pointe - David Weekley Homes

This is my second time coming to the model home. The first time was last Sunday and the office closed early. Today no one was in the office. My husband and I waited 30 minutes. I am NOT impressed and you just lost a sale. You lost a big sale at that. I wanted the McManus floor plan. I will take my business elsewhere, and I’ll be sure to let all of my family and friends know the experience that I’ve had.

As a DFW Realtor, working with Hayden Howerton was truly an exceptional experience! From start to finish, Hayden was professional, responsive and incredibly knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and that all our questions were answered along the way. This review is a long time coming- we closed January 2023 -They say building a home is one of life’s most stressful undertakings, but thanks to Carla at David Weekley Homes, our experience was more symphony than circus. From day one, Carla was equal parts concierge, counselor, and construction whisperer. She answered calls on her day off (who does that anymore?), translated blueprint hieroglyphics into human language, and navigated us through the twists and turns of the building process as if she were building her own dream home—with my indecisiveness and her patience.
She didn’t just sell us a house; she enveloped us in care and competence. If I could bottle her empathy, I’d give it to every customer service rep on Earth.
Fast forward 2.5 years: most companies would ghost you harder than a bad Tinder date. Enter Brennon, our warranty manager, who still picks up the phone like we just closed yesterday and I’m calling to invite him to Sunday dinner. His responsiveness, integrity, and total lack of phone-dodging are evidence that David Weekley doesn't just build homes—they stand by them.
That kind of long-term commitment? Practically Shakespearean.
And the house? Absolutely stunning. Beautiful, solid, intelligent design.
• The layout is smart, flowing with intentional design that fits the way people actually live.
• The insulation is phenomenal—I can barely hear the Texas wind, and my utility bills are impressively modest, even in peak summer.
• It holds temperature like a well-built spaceship. The energy efficiency alone makes me feel like I’m saving the planet and my bank account at the same time.
Every time I walk in, I’m reminded that this isn’t just a house—it’s a well-built love letter to good taste and great construction.

I give them a star because they build in good communities. Their homes overpriced and poor quality, craftsmanship poorly design and cheap materials. My experience with them have been a nightmare, I closed on my home a year ago and I been spending money from the first week I moved in. Please research and read reviews before investing.
