We recently worked with Master Edge Homes on a bathroom remodel focused on accessibility, comfort, and creating a relaxing space for our family. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.Our goal was to remove the step into the shower to make the bathroom safer and more accessible for a family member with special needs, while also adding storage and comfort. Master Edge Homes was the only contractor (out of six we interviewed!) who asked thoughtful questions about our family member’s future needs. That level of care and forward planning made all the difference.Their project plan was impressive and incredibly interactive; letting us review the floor plan, select components, and ask questions all in one place. Communication was always quick, professional, and made us feel like our needs genuinely mattered.The project was scheduled for nine weeks and only ran a few days over due to a part that had to be ordered. We stayed within our (large) budget and even had money refunded back to us, which we really appreciated.The designer helped us choose materials that balanced everyone’s preferences: calming, light colours for one family member paired with stylish black accents and multiple handrails for accessibility. The final result is bright, clean, and warm with heated floors and beautiful tile that make the whole space feel like a spa. There’s ample storage, and the deeper (but shorter due to space constraints) tub is surprisingly comfortable while still being accessible.Accessibility was a top priority, and Master Edge Homes delivered. They incorporated handrails throughout the shower, tub, and near the toilet, added a special toilet paper dispenser, left open space under the sink for future wheelchair use, and placed the shower controls where a PSW can reach them easily without getting wet. These thoughtful details have made daily life significantly easier and safer.The only issue we encountered was with the initial paint job, but the team handled it immediately and had the painters return to fix it; no stress, no pushback.We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Every guest who has visited has complimented the bathroom, even those who didn’t know it was newly remodeled. It’s functional, accessible, relaxing, and beautiful. We would absolutely recommend Master Edge Homes to anyone looking for high-quality work and a team that truly cares about their clients.

We are very happy with the renovations done by Master Edge Homes. They were able to complete the renovations in 3 months as agreed upon. Staff were very professional; they returned communications quickly. The tradespeople were efficient, on time, and kept the site clean. Bi-weekly meetings enabled us to see the progress and provided further updates. When difficulties arose, the team was able to problem solve quickly. The designer, Caneisha Edwards, coordinated appointments at vendors and provided ideas within our budget. From the initial meeting with Dwayne Butler through the planning process to its completion, this was a smooth process.
