Today I dropped in on Cavco homes, formerly Oak Creek homes. The sales person that greeted me was Barbara. Let me tell you, this lady was wonderful!!She didn’t waste my time trying to show me what I didn’t want to see or trying to upsell me on an out of budget model. The GM, Fabian, is also a great guy! Excellent PR and I got the price and more from the home than I was expecting! The homes and the service at this dealer are both top notch! Go see Barb and Fabian for your new mobile home needs! 5 star ?? service hands down!! Check out the Frontier floor plan today!! That’s my pick????

You’re going to read this review and think this couldn’t happen to me, but what if it did? Do you even want to take the chance?I bought my house in July of 2022. They tell you it’s going to take 90 days to even get started on your initial punch list ( the list that you fill out after the house has been delivered and you go through and mark all the damages) these homes come with a one-year manufacturing warranty and a two-year installation warranty, we waited until October to finally move in after making payments for three months on something we couldn’t live in. Every room in the house had cracks and breaks in the ceiling, in the drywall around the windows and the doors. The windows leak water, the vents in the bathroom leaked water, the floors were sunk in and when you stepped on them would sag, there were nails coming up through the linoleum and poking holes in the flooring. When they came out and put up my underpinning, the installers completely ruined my air conditioning unit, they left self tapping screws all over the ground and in my driveway, all around the house (more than 50 of them). I can understand a few, but the amount of trash that they left at the property after doing their job was insane. The underpinning has since fallen off the house and cracked and broken. (I haven’t even been in the home a year yet )The doors didn’t shut and lock the windows wouldn’t shut and lock, …which is all to be expected. What wasn’t to be expected is that it would take almost a year to get this punchlist completed….That when they came out to my house to do the repairs, they were going to damage my house further, spraying texturing on the walls without covering the flooring and the furniture so now there is spots of it all over everything. That after they came out and did the repairs the patches that they did on the drywall would be cracking again and falling through the ceiling, the floor is rolling up, and now is completely ruined even worse than it was before they came out to do the “repairs”. I was told when I purchased my home by Fabiola in the office that if I had these problems she would make sure to help me get them fixed. The last time I called her, she told me that she was advised not to help me any longer. The woman that they assigned to organize the contractors for the repairs has quit answering my emails and not returning phone calls. Her supervisor has never answered her phone or returned a phone call and I have had to file a complaint with the Texas Department of housing manufacturing, I paid $150,000 for a home that I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life in and the floors are completely ruined and they are refusing to discuss repairs. I would never recommend anyone doing business with this company, because no matter where you go the fact of the matter is the manufacturer is not holding up their part of the agreement to fix the floors to a new condition, which is what I paid for. I didn’t buy a used mobile home. I bought a brand new one and now I’m going to have to replace the floors. The whole experience, except for picking out the house, has been a complete and total disaster, and I would never wish it on anyone .Did I mention every time it rains you can guarantee water is going to come in from somewhere! Windows, doors, and light fixtures!Update: 08/224The repairs that their contractor did is now falling apart! The tile in the shower is loose and the grout is crumbling. The drywall has cracked again!DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
