UPDATE: 3 months into living in our new home we have encountered significant electrical concerns that have not been adequately trouble shot or addressed. Currently we are having to reset at least one breaker a day, not always the same one, causing us great concern to the electrical safety of our home. This is not a new development, it has been ongoing since we first moved into our home. The level of concern from UBH has been less than satisfying.We have been very satisfied with UBH from initial contact, to design, to build and being handed our keys. We have had other homes built for us and none have gone this smoothly. Jeannie spent hours meeting with us designing our very specialized house. Her many years of experience helped keep us on track during the design process. On the administrative side of things, Chris and Rhea kept things running smoothly. All paperwork was accurate and complete. We received weekly updates with pictures and important information. Anytime we had a question they were available to help get an answer. Construction manager, Scott, went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed right and in a timely manner. His communication skills are top notch and never got frustrated when we would get ourselves worked up about something. There were no problems too large for him to utilize his experience and resolve. He spent tireless hours on our project during pre-build and build. His positive relationship with his contractors kept things moving forward. In our opinion he is one of UBH’s greatest assets. We are very happy and can’t wait to start enjoying our new home.
Sean Sehon, a United Built Homes Sales Representative, met with me & a prospective UBH client at their office in Round Rock. After over 40 years of active experience in the real estate and mortgage brokerage business, mostly as the owner of my own companies, I have seldom met with customer service that was as friendly, professional and knowledgeable as Sean provided to us. I was also impressed with the UBH programs, homes, & excellence of the presentation Sean gave us. We are a month into the process, and everything has been smooth and great. We are expecting to pour our foundation on 3/3/25.Foundation poured, lumber delivered. Great communication and build is running on time.Last day of March and progress is rapid. Slab to framing to mechanical to paint. Been a really great experience with the UBH team. Let’s see what April brings.The first week of April has been a joy to watch and see dreams come true. UBH has been great to work with and send updates.Week after week I am still amazed at the progress and quality. I had to stop by UBH office and let Chris Taylor know that everyone at UBH has been great working. Let’s see what this new week brings us;).From late February (forms set), to May 3rd. interior doors and trimming being installed. We bought land without having a builder in mind. After looking at a lot of builders, I found UBH. They were so amazing throughout the process. The sales representative spent as much time as I wanted to find the floorplan that was just right for us. They were so flexible with plans that I was able to create a home that is completely custom. The building process was on schedule and we did not have any issues. I had never built (or planned to build) because I had heard it was so difficult > that was NOT my experience with UBH. I would recommend (and have recommended) UBH to anyone building a new home!!!
