Great quality house especially for the price. Very happy with how things turned out in the end despite the typical frustrations of house building. Our project manager, Sean was very timely and prompt. He made sure things got done, followed through with requests, and was very personable. My only complaint was that I feel that sales was not upfront about how much work the homeowner has to do, thus the 4/5 stars.

We have had a very good experience with HiLine homes. Their contractors were fast, efficient, and did a good job cleaning up. Our Project manager was a good communicator and responsive to our needs. Our Project manager was able to address any building issues that occurred. We plan on building another HiLine home, and would recommend them for a good value in this the current economic climate.

HiLine was a great fit for us! I enjoyed how I got to be involved in the construction of our home (2443 plan), but not have the responsibility/stress of doing it all myself. HiLine's Salem branch worked with us to change the design for some modifications we really wanted. Even though this is a floor plan they already have, the changes we made make us feel like our home is truly customized for our needs. That being said, don't feel the need to change or upgrade too much. We found the base plumbing and lighting fixtures are top notch. We are very pleased with the quality of materials HiLine includes.
I was able to self-perform all the site prep and bring in the utilities for the home. Coordination with HiLine throughout the process went well. Once I had the site ready for them, they were able to get our home built in about 6mo despite Covid shortages and logistic issues! The quality of subs HiLine uses are fantastic. I have hired many subs in the past and was very pleased with the expertise HiLine has access to.
We love our new home and will continue to recommend HiLine to friends and family. Thanks Salem HiLine folks!

We are thankful Hi-Line was able to get our build in before crazy covid world really affected the build. I would recommend them mainly for how quickly they completed the project. If you are willing to put in the work of maintaining the site and getting your utilities connected/installed yourself , this is a brilliant way to go. Once we had a concern with our project manager, the manager in salem was very quick to resolve and step in to placate our concerns. I agree with a previous review, it would have been nice to have more guidance on how to design colors for cabinets and flooring. We would probably choose a different carpet now that we see it all installed.

We built the 1793 plan. You do all site prep, dig out, permits and utilities. They get you a permit package ready you take to the county/city. We are impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of all contractors especially the framing crew. The job went smooth and on time even while building in a floodplain in a remote area. The shell package is available (we did this allowing us to complete finishes) and their mileage travel fees for our remote location were less than other competitors. We would definitly build with Hiline again! Thank you Dan and Jack.
