Recent reviews often highlight professional communication and steady project coordination, with several customers noting on-time milestones and clear updates from the field team. There are also critical reviews citing quality concerns and difficulty resolving issues after move-in on some builds. Overall ratings suggest many positive experiences alongside a smaller set of unresolved service complaints. Prospective clients frequently mention the value of clear expectations and documentation during the process.

Adair Homes delivers an exceptional, concierge-style home building experience from start to finish. The entire team is professional, communicative, and truly invested in bringing our dream home to life. If you’re looking for a trusted home builder that combines outstanding service with personalized attention, look no further. Highly recommend!

We have never written a review before in lives - but the frustration with the quality of Adair's work has finally reached the point whereas our experience should be shared. Then, just maybe, they will be a little more willing to address/prevent problems in the future.

We had a home built through the Spokane, WA office less than 6 years ago. At that time we had issues with the quality of work and voiced our concerns/complaints to the project manager. Primarily it focused on the quality of the framing, flooring, and roofing. Because of our complaints, the project manager finally pulled one of the key builders off of our house build. Since the completed work, we have had to replace portions of our roof a minimum of 4 times (with another portion of our roof being blown off last night), a water leak through the roof that resulted in damage to our kitchen/flooring/garage, and a water leak around the window in the kitchen where the inadequate roofing installation allowed water to leak down in that area. There has been other issues - such as the flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms not being glued down properly - so again - had to replace the flooring due to poor construction work within 2 years of the completion of the build. Again - all of this could have been avoided if the project manager would have addressed the initial concerns in the beginning and ensured that the person(s) that were completing the roof work, framing, and flooring were competent and skilled in that area.

Best of luck to others that are using this builder! We hope that your experience is much different than ours and that your house, once built, is solid and not in need of immediate and on-going repairs.

As of 12/14 - more on their workmanship! See pictures of leaking kitchen window.
And it continues. 12/26/2022 - water damage in the garage from leak in the roof as snow melts off.

Our experience with Adair Homes was nothing short of awesome. From our first meeting with John Adler to the completion of our home, they were nothing but professional. Our construction foreman, Ken Kenyon was super positive and kept our build progressing nicely. We started on time and had very few delays. During the build, Ken kept us informed of our progress and met every phase of our project on time. We had very few issues and the ones we did have, Ken either fixed them himself or made sure they were rectified to our satisfaction. During the build we had several interested people stop by the build site and ask about the build and who the contractor was. We enjoyed showing them around our beautiful new home. We are more than happy to recommend Adair homes to any who ask.

I never thought I would have decided to build a custom home, but I did. In 2016 I found a remarkable piece of property in North Spokane. I decided to buy it and slowly pay it off in time. By 2018 it was paid in full and I started to realize I could build a home just for me. I started researching home builders and after a few months of seeking I finally decided on Adair Homes in Spokane. I liked that they were a sweat equity program, where I got to do alot of the stuff myself to save money. Like painting, cement work, landscaping, fencing, inside blinds, etc. Because I had tons of resources, I knew I could find my own contractors and pay cash for alot it, vs financing it. They started the build in November of 2018 and completed the home in July/August of 2019. Was it always a smooth process – No! But the saving grace in all of it was Bruce and Ken. Building a home is a giant feat, and especially living 1200 miles away during the build. Bruce and Ken were quite amazing to work with. Really good at communicating, helping me manage the build from Phoenix - it was a team effort. Bruce and Ken kept their promises, and have continued to handle things that needed dialed in even after I moved in. Bruce went above and beyond helping me with almost anything I needed.

I waited to write this review until I lived in the house for a while. It's now been 8-months, the house is dialed in, and I am very happy with its quality, design and functionality. It's a perfect home for me. Yes, I would have done a few things differently like added a fireplace, more insulation to the laundry room walls, and a beam in the main living area. But those are all things I did not do for my reasons at the time. One thing about using Adair is if you do it right you can move into your house with alot of built in equity right away. I estimate my current equity to be around 200K already. Try that with any other home builder. Yes, I did alot of my own work - cement work, painting and landscaping at a fraction of the cost most builders would charge you a pretty penny to do. All in all, I am happy with my house and would use Adair again to build another house.

I gave this review a 4 star for a few reasons. The beginning process with the sale associate CANDY MCANDREWS was a nightmare. She was a snake in the grass, and sheep in wolves clothing. I won't go into the horrible details., but in the end Adair fired her. The other reason was Tresha Weyer, their Reconstruction Administrator. She was very bitey, and impatient with me. I am a very detailed person and had never built a home before. She would tell me things like read the packet you were given and assumed I should know the things I did not know. I truly disliked working with her in any capacity. I felt her energy to be disrespectful and always ready to pounce :(

Once, Bruce and Ken got things moving I was happy to be done with their admin team. Bruce and Ken saved it for me and helped me to regain the trust of Adair Homes.

My mom's house was built by Adair (Redmond branch) and called them to ask a question about replacing a faulty window sill. They informed her that it was under warranty and came right out to remove the sill (as shown in the photo), said they would be back later with supplies for the new sill only they never did come back. She finally called them and she was told that it was not under warranty and that she would have to finish it herself. Not only that, but that they did her a favor by ripping it out. She did reach out to the Spokane team to remedy the situation considering she is looking to relocate here. 6 months after the initial call, the window sill is still unfinished. It is a simple fix, and if they are unable to finish the small jobs, I would not trust them with a big one such as a new home.
