I hired Jorn Lange, President and Contractor for Pacific View Builders, to build an approximately 400 su.ft. ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) above my 2 car garage. The project began in August of 2022, after approximately two years of planning and obtaining various permits from the City of Ventura. Sewer, water and gas lines needed to be connected underground and the wood frame for the structure was built outside the existing garage with a poured concrete foundation to support the entire structure.Jorn was on site every weekday during the eight months of construction making sure the workers were on track for this very complicated and painstakingly slow process. From infrastructure installation to coordinating the demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and a myriad of other structural challenges, Jorn was dedicated to building me a studio apartment for my daughter. There were a few setbacks and weather delays along the way but I am happy to say that she moved into her new place on March 25th, 2023.The quality of the construction is excellent and the subcontractors who worked on the project were all masters of their craft. The final cost exceeded the original bid by 11%, well within reason considering the current realities of the construction business. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Pacific View Builders of Ventura for any of your construction or remodeling needs.The photos speak for themselves.......
