Sweenor Builders

We’ve worked with Jeff and the team at Sweenor Builders for years, and they consistently deliver at a very high level. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to execute complex custom homes really stands out. Communication is clear, expectations are well managed, and the finished product is always thoughtfully done. A professional, reliable builder we’re proud to partner with.

Boston Automations, my home technology company, recently collaborated with Sweenor Builders on an oceanfront home in Narragansett, Rhode Island, and it was an incredible journey from start to finish! As the most significant technology project Boston Automations has ever undertaken—and the most complex project in Sweenor Builders’ 35-year history—this partnership showcased what makes them truly stand out as a premier custom home builder. From the moment we started, it was clear why Sweenor Builders is known as the finest home builder in Rhode Island. Their team is unmatched in their dedication and attention to detail. Watching their process unfold, whether it was the precision of the rough construction, the art of finish carpentry, or the care they put into handing off the home to the client, was inspiring. We appreciated most how open and eager their team was to learn about new technologies and how these technologies could elevate the homeowner's living experience. It’s not every day you find a builder that not only embraces innovation but is excited to weave it into their process. The two years we spent collaborating were simply amazing. The teamwork, the passion, and the shared vision made it an experience we won’t soon forget. We’re looking forward to the next custom home project with Sweenor Builders!

The team at Sweenor was top notch! From the initial introductions, to the design phase, through construction and to finishing touches, everyone I worked with was professional, friendly, responsive, and skilled. The design phase with Mitch and the team was actually fun, as we experimented with a few different approaches and landed on a design that suited my needs and the property perfectly. The construction phase was well-run and gave me great confidence in the quality of construction and the longevity of the home I was investing in. My project manager Aaron went above and beyond, and did a good job keeping me up to date! The interior design team of Kristen and Talia were terrific to work with, responsive to my requests, and brought great ideas to the table. The whole team did an excellent job keeping me on task with decision points but never overwhelming me with them. I appreciated the transparency in the process and the responsiveness throughout to any of my questions. Now, with construction and landscaping complete, I am enjoying being in the house and seeing how it all came together so well, and getting lots of compliments from neighbors and visitors!
