After being in an Elmwood home for 7 years, we decided it was time for an upgrade to another one. Brett made the process for choosing a new home easy and simple. He helped us navigate the pros and cons of which community to choose and provided us with lots of helpful information. Brett made sure we knew he was available to help us with anything. He returns texts and emails without delay. We look forward to working with the entire staff to make our new home just as great as the last one.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing our home from Elmwood Custom Homes. From the first walkthrough to closing, everything was smooth, organized, and professionally handled.What stood out most was the attention to detail and overall craftsmanship. The quality of the finishes and construction make us feel like we have a very well-built, solid home that will serve our family for years to come.The only minor issue we encountered was with the air conditioning/heating unit, which was more related to the HVAC company than the builder. Even so, Elmwood was responsive and helpful as we worked through it.Overall, we are extremely pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Elmwood Custom Homes to anyone looking for a high-quality home.
We have lived in our Elmwood home for just over a year and are quite happy. Melissa Jones was our excellent realtor. I told her no new construction homes. However; I kept looking at a used home that was for sale that I really liked. Melissa convinced us to go see what the builder had to offer.We found the Tuscan Estate location to be fantastic. Close but not too close to town and we could closely replicate the home we really liked and custom made it ours. The process was straightforward and the team at Elmwood moved us through in an orderly process. As the home was being built we found a few minor changes we wanted to make and the builder was able to accommodate those changes without issues and delivered the home on the time. Since move in, the warranty team has been great at tweaking and fixing a few issues we have had and have done a good job of communicating.Would we use Elmwood and do this again? Yes!What would have made design choices a bit easier would be 3D rendering so we could better visualize the final product. But overall we are happy with how things turned out and love our place. Ben was our salesman, Bryan was our builder, and Carissa was our design specialist. We went with their loan team (Mary) and they were great too.
