After getting a wild quote for service on my 13 year old furnace (and a "but really you should replace the whole furnace and the AC unit too" upsell along with it) from another company, Joe from Koch and White came out and sorted my furnace out promptly and efficiently. He was far more knowledgable than the other tech/company whose quote was WAY more. The only drawback is that it took a full day to get an appointment but I'm so glad I got a second assessment. I feel like some trades serving Ann Arbor take seemingly affluent white collar academic types out to the woodshed. I'm a struggling single mom raised in a blue collar family but appear to be the former, and my family (bro is a plumber, close cousin is a carpenter) told me many times I've been screwed over on repairs. Really appreciate Joe's honest no-nonsense respectful approach. HIGHLY recommend.
Our furnace went out last night. Called Koch and White this morning. They responded within an hour of my call and appointment schedule. A team of Connor and Dan showed up. They were very professional and kind. Got right to work diagnosising and fixing the problem before our regular service provider even bothered to return our call from last night and this morning. (We still haven't heard from them.)Connor and Dan and Koch and White certainly won our future business. Oh, and, the best part - their prices are super reasonable and did not charge us extra because it was urgent.Thank you!

Eric came by this morning to check out our furnace that was intermittently not running. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going on. He found issues that other furnace maintenance companies had missed. He is also a good dude and highly recommendable
Always a great experience with Koch & White! I wont even look around at other services because they are fantastic. The technicians that have serviced my air conditioner and furnace are very knowledgeable and up front. I never feel like they are pushy or trying to oversell things, and the fixes have always helped and lasted. Scheduling is a breeze, and they have gone above and beyond in some cases to schedule quickly or call if there are other cancellations. Can’t recommend highly enough!
