Contracted through AHS to fix our furnace. Service was quick and courteous. Text message communication was a GREAT feature! Techs all seemed very nice and knowledgeable! They made sure the issue was 100% taken care of...A+++++
We were referred to this HVAC company through our home warranty company and I was impressed by how quickly they were able to not only diagnose the issue but get it resolved. We've worked with other companies in the past that have said they were going to fix the issue and come to find out later they didn't deliver as promised. Joey did a great job considering he had to clean up another company's sloppy and incomplete work before beginning to resolve the issue. Hats off to him and if I could give y'all more than one 5* I absolutely would. Thanks again and hopefully we won't need you but if we do, we know who to call now.
I appreciate the service that has been provided by Chesapeake Comfort System on my gas furnace. They're very professional and reliable. The technician Matt is very knowledgeable ?? +. If we would need any future repairs we would be comfortable having them come out to service us again.
Chesapeake Comfort was sent out to my home by American Home Shield to troubleshoot an ignition problem with my Goodman gas furnace.First, I can’t say enough great things about their technicians! Clean, knowledgeable, efficient, personable. Tremendous assets for their company. What the technician found was a worn out heat exchanger after only 6 years of service. Since there is no fix for this, Chesapeake documented the problem and submitted a requisition for a new Carrier furnace to American Home shield. The fact that this unit was worn out in only 6 years was due to the developer, Ryan Homes, installing a 40, 000 Btu furnace instead of a 60,000 Btu unit that the overwhelming calculation criteria unanimously supports. Plain and simple the unit was sized way to small for the space.Chesapeake did an outstanding job submitting all paperwork, picking up the unit, removing and disposing of the old unit and installing the new Carrier 60,000 Btu unit and sending 2 men to install the unit during a 3 hour period of time. The entire process took 4 days, start to finish. Once complete, the office staff completed all warranty paperwork emailing me on how to collect all documents for future use..
Not Recommended & Unreliable!Note: previous rating was 5 stars for my other property.3.24.2025, 11 am - I requested HVAC service for 2nd property. HVAC located in attic. Technician stated there was no floor boards & unable to access the HVAC. I explained new insulation was installed two months ago. Spoke to an agency representative via telephone requesting a report be sent to warranty company. Representative stated the Technician took pictures & could not access 8 pictures at 6:45 pm.Solutions: At 1 pm, I called FH Furr, HVAC, explained the situation as state by Chesapeake. FH Furr appointment, the technician stated there are floor boards & some insulation covered floor boards but it is accessible. FH Furr service the unit. It was costly but the job was completed.Previous review:2.21.2025, 8 am - installation of new HVAC unit, through American Home Shield.
