We have been using a bigger chain in the area and my last call with them I was not impressed. Our AC stopped working last night and I called and the Owner picked right up and got my information. I had the absolute pleasure of having Houston come out as our tech and was impressed with the job he did. Not only did he clean the outside unit but also my entire ac closet all included in the maintenance charge. I appreciate his open honesty and willingness to show me what was wrong with our unit. I will be using discount Air in the future and reccomend them highly :) THANK YOU!

Showed up quickly. Introduced himself and explained what he was doing. Came and showed me the pictures of the burnt wires. Gave me two options (different prices). He got the parts quickly, and fixed it. ALL THE SAME DAY! My husband was sick in bed and we really needed the heat so I appreciate all that they did.

Our AC unit stopped cooling on a Saturday evening so we waited until Sunday to start making calls. I have worked with two of the bigger name AC repair shops in the Bradenton area in the past couple of years (work related) I knew I didn't want to call them this time. I decided to rely on reviews this time and I am very glad that I did. I found "Discount Air Conditioning" on Google and read all of the reviews. I was satisfied with what I had read so I gave them a call. Raz (owner) answered my call, told me the cost for the service call, the cost was reasonable so I said to come on out. He came out in about an hour, roughly 5:30 pm, just before dark. He checked the whole system, found the problem and repaired one of the two issues that night and was at my place the next morning at 9am with the other part that was needed. The AC is back running like new and I was happy with the price of the repair. Raz is a great guy with a deep knowledge of HVAC systems and repair, passionate about his work. I'm very glad to have met him and I now have my very own "A/C guy" that I will use in the future.

We just purchased our home around 6 months ago, I knew that I needed my AC serviced. I put it off because I was so nervous about picking the right AC company. My unit stopped working so I called Discount Air, I told him I was nervous, he completely put me at ease, he was so nice and understanding of my concerns. Houston came out took a minute to get to know us. When he got to the AC unit, as he started working on it he took us along with him and showed us and explained everything to us and patiently answered our questions. He came back out the next day to do the work, he had out there with him showing us all the work. At the end as he was closing the unit he found a leak. We panicked and thought we were gonna need another part . Before we know it, he had it clamped. We took a chance on this company and we are grateful and so happy we did. We will be telling everyone we know about them. If Houston comes to your home, you are going to get a perfect job done and you’re going to love him.

If you’re looking for an AC guy in Florida, stop scrolling and call Ras. Seriously, he’s a unicorn in this industry. We called him last minute when our AC broke and our house was 85 degrees, and somehow he swooped in and got us a high-quality, low-cost air conditioning unit like it was no big deal. Most companies want half your money up front before they even touch a screwdriver, but not Ras—he trusted us enough to let us pay when the job was finished. That alone deserves five stars.

But the best part? His work is immaculate. He taped off the putty lines so everything looked clean and sharp and was rodent sealed. By the time he left, it looked like nothing had ever been touched (except for the fact that our house was suddenly an icebox and the AC unit is clean and new). The whole process was stress-free, professional, and dare I say… enjoyable? Who says that about AC work?!

Ras is fast, fair, and trustworthy. If you’re tired of overpriced quotes, sketchy service, and high-pressure sales tactics, do yourself a favor and call him. You’ll end up with cold air, peace of mind, and the satisfaction of knowing you found the unicorn of Florida AC.
