We had our furnace shut down with a pressure switch fault, and ThermalCare was outstanding from start to finish. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained what was happening, and got the furnace running safely right away. What really stood out was the follow-through, he realized the pressure switch itself needed replacing and went out of his way to return the same day with the part so we wouldn’t have to pay a second service call or spend another cold night without heat. The repair was done quickly, cleanly, and at a very reasonable price.Honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-focused service. It’s rare to find a company that puts people first like this. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ThermalCare to anyone needing furnace or HVAC work.
We hired this companies technicians based on a recommendation from our home inspector to perform a furnace maintenance and inspection. The purpose of this visit was to ensure the furnace was in good working order, that no dangerous gases were being emitted, and that all components were functioning safely.During the appointment, the technicians performed maintenance and informed us that the condensation pump had failed and that some bonding wiring work was required. They showed us that the condensation pump was leaking onto our floor. We were told that while the furnace was currently safe, it could fail at any time and that we should be prepared. We were advised that your office would contact us the following Monday with a quote for the required repairs. After not hearing back, I followed up on January 7, 2026, to inquire about the status of the quote. It took several days for the technician to return my inquiry, and at that point we were informed that the condensation pump failure had not been included in his notes, despite it being clearly demonstrated to us during the visit.Out of an abundance of caution, we decided to seek a second opinion. A technician from another company arrived and, immediately upon entering our home, stated that he smelled something off. Within approximately ten minutes of inspection, he identified extensive water damage, leaking gas, and rust to the internal components of the furnace, and deemed the furnace unsafe. He red-tagged the unit and informed us that it was a serious safety hazard requiring full replacement. He was able to maneuver a camera inside the furnace and show us all the rust, and the water was pooling at the bottom inside the unit, and explained why these findings made the furnace unsafe.Given his findings, I am extremely concerned and confused as to how this companies technicians did not detect these issues or perform the appropriate testing to identify a furnace that was ultimately deemed unsafe by another professional in such a short period of time. It is mainly the ignorance of the rust inside the furnace that baffles me - I saw it myself, and don’t understand how that wasn’t noted, or at least mentioned to us at the time of the maintenance routine. We relied on this companies expertise to ensure the safety of our home, and this situation has caused us significant stress and concern.
Great Service. My furnace went out over Christmas holidays. Called ThermalCare for some servise. They told me they would come in an hour. They showed up in 30 minutes. Found my problem, had to order some parts. They returned the next day a got the heat back on. Very fast and freindly service. Very reasonable priced as well. Thanks for the great work.
