I had a great experience with this heating and air conditioning company. They came out to input a new unit and were extremely professional from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made sure the system was running perfectly before leaving. What really impressed me was how clean and respectful they were of my home. They cleaned up everything after the job and left the area exactly how they found it. It’s hard to find companies that take that level of pride in their work these days. He was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I fully understood the issue and the solution. He was patient, honest, and thorough, which made the entire experience stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about doing the job right and educating the customer. I highly recommend Xiong and Ascend Heating & Air!
If they had more stars I would give them.Our air handler wasn’t working and thermostat had a fault code.We called late Saturday and Xiong fit us in Monday. There was no “sometime between 8am and 7pm”, he said 11:30-12 and that’s when he arrived.I had another company out prior and they said our control board in the air handler was bad. The quote was almost $1,000. All while trying to sell us on an entire system. I bought a control board for $100 and unplugged the 4 connectors and reconnected to the new board. No change. Board wasn’t bad. They were going to charge us $1,000 for 5 minutes (literally) of work and THEN tell us our blower motor module was bad. My guess is the quote would have been $3,500 plus.I was an HVAC tech in the commercial field years back but don’t have the time currently to spend troubleshooting, so a friend sent me Ascends info and highly recommended them.Xiong called me while I was at work and advised the control board wasn’t an issue it was the module on the motor. He then told me if I felt comfortable doing the work myself (he was aware I am EPA certified and have HVAC experience) and locating a replacement motor/module it would save us $$$.He was more than happy to do the job but looked out for us. I found a replacement and installed it. Blower is blowing and heat pump is heating.When you find a mechanic, HVAC tech, plumber, etc that puts clients first you keep them for life. Ascend is a lifetime company.The first company (I won’t spray their name) was going to overcharge us on parts and labor for something that wasn’t even bad and more than likely waaaay overprice the real solution to “encourage ” us to purchase a new system for $13,000. Ascend was the total opposite. They were attempting to help solve the issue while making it as cheap on us as possible.As a former HVAC service technician and installer I can say without a doubt this company is the best. You won’t be disappointed.
I called for service Saturday night and Xiong was available to get to me. He was honest, polite, and well mannered. He got my unit back online and did a thorough job and kept his work area clean. Very pet friendly and great customer service, he didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need, this wont be the last time I call Ascend Heating and air conditioning. Great small business that's fair and honest with their pricing.
