My gas fireplace was serviced Jan. 2026.Tristan, the technician that completed the service, was not only professional, but very considerate, tidy & completed the job in the estimated time given.He answered my questions with skill and knowledge & in addition was personable.I am now confident that my fireplace is in excellent working order - plus the flame is much clearer due to the glass being cleaned. The technician and personnel at the front desk were very polite and courteous however, my satisfaction with Bennett Sheet Metal & Heating rates the lowest. First before a technician is dispatched to conduct a diagnosis on a heat pump for the amount of $146.22. I was required to give my credit card information. My heat pump was malfunctioning due to freezing inside the unit. Once parts arrived, technician came over to replace parts diagnosed to be faulty at a cost of $1974.13. Tentative Repair were done on Thursday December 19 2024, the following Monday I notified Bennett of that the initial problem was still persisting. Then the office staff that there would be an other diagnosis required at once again at $146.22 . After speaking to the manager of the establishment, I was informed that it could be a two step process. I feel like I have been had in the same manner the scammers proceed on the internet or phone calls. The pictures below were taken on Jan 13th 2025.
I purchased a new hot water tank through Costco and the team at Bennett Sheet Metal and Heating was a pleasure to work with. All correspondence was returned in a timely manner. The price quoted was exactly what I paid and the work was done promptly and was of very high quality. I would recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.
My furnace was in its last legs, and through costco, I found Bennett Sheet Metal, and they held my hand through the whole process, making everything in the decision-making process very easy. They came by to have a look before the installation, and we discussed what I needed to do for prep. That done, we set up the install date, they were on time, helpful, efficient, I felt very comfortable leaving my house with the installers there. The installers even did a wonderful job of placing the new furnace better than the old furnace, so i have a bit more room in that area (still under construction, new floor going in soon, etc). They came back the next day to tweek some things with the thermostat and helped me get my gas fireplace running again (bled the lines, etc. and showed me how to do it, I've never had a gas fireplace before).100% would recommend this company! Great staff and service from start to finish!!
