Charged $80 service fee for the privilege of them to quote me $9000 on a job someone else did for $2000.I called Integrated HVAC because I really like one of their techs, of whom I worked with before. He came out and was great again, and collected all the info needed to price out my bid. I knew this would cost $80, but I didn't know when it got to management that they would send me some exorbitant bid for the work, exploiting the already sunk $80 that we put into merely pricing out the job. That is absolutely ridiculous behavior from a business. I had another company come in and do the work for a fair price of less than 1/3 of Integrated's quote. Contractors need to be called out on this type of crap and I don't even care if I burn a bridge with Integrated. That quote was disrespectful and exploitative. Don't pay them a dime for a quote, or you risk the same thing happening that happened to me.EDIT: Integrated is claiming they don't charge for quotes, yet I was charged for a quote and there are other reviews here that complain they were charged for quotes. Stating that they don't charge for quotes is a lie. Also no idea what they're talking about regarding long term solutions because the work the competitor did was a better solution than Integrated recommended, again at 1/3 the price for the same services.
