Used Martin's today to repair my furnace. They were very friendly to deal with, quick and were even kind to my pets in house.Would recommend again!
Horrible customer service.I have been dealing with this company for the past month following their servicing of our heat pump and am appalled by the customer service I just experienced. There have been multiple issues experienced since the standard servicing was done, including an error code that came up during the servicing that the technician wasn’t familiar with - but ignored since it went away shortly after. The error code kept coming back so we called to have them come look again. They came again, and the technician was unsure what the issue was, uncertain what the readings meant following his tests, told me he had never experienced negative readings before, and “thought” he knew what part needed to be replaced, but bounced between two different parts being the issue, and settled with them both needing to be replaced. After noting our concerns about the lack of certainty and information from the technician, looking for a second opinion, the owner came out to look himself. He didn’t want to hear what I had to say. Didn’t want to hear what my boyfriend had to say, didn’t examine the heat pump, just defended his technician and yelled, slammed the door, and left.If this is the way the owner is acting towards a customer that is just looking for help, I have no confidence in this company.
???????????? ?????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ??????????????!I was recommended Martin's Home Heating by a neighbour and wholeheartedly regret hiring them before reading their negative reviews.I simply wanted my perfectly working heat pump cleaned, but once the technician was done I noticed a new error code and the system was no longer cooling my house at all. Once the technician returned to inspect it, I was informed multiple components were now broken and would need to be replaced. My heat pump has now been shut off for 6 days while I wait for the replacement components to come in, but when I called for an update, I was informed they haven't even order the parts yet, and that I would have to pay labor for them to install the parts. The communication of this company is a joke.???? ???????????????? ?? ???????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????? ????????.
From 5 Stars to 1 Star…The service from Martin’s was always good, and they did quite a few warranty jobs for me without any issues. However, my recent experience was awful. They started repairing my heat pump and then left in the middle of the job. They never came back. For months, they ignored my calls and messages. When I finally got a hold of someone, they said they no longer have a heat pump technician and "forgot" to tell me. They just told me to find someone else. This company is completely unprofessional and unreliable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them.
I had a old interior oil tank to replace when I moved into my new house, requested by my home insurance. I selected Martin's for the work, and he was able to schedule the work according to my schedule. His task was to service the furnace (which had not bee serviced in a long time). I believe this was done right, but how would I know? The most important task was the oil tank replacement. The first picture shows the pipes at the time of the home inspection. The picture shows very clearly that the pipes were sealed (and were insulated in the wall). The following pictures show the results post replacement. After the work was "completed" I was literally able to see the exterior from inside the house. I mentionned that to Richard but he said that they had not touch the pipes at all and therefore would not have moved. I beg to differ. They offered no solution and pretty much said they would not do anything about it.To add on top of that, they demanded full payment hours after completion of work (which is highly unusual in the contracting business) and at the time I had not even seen the completed work, so I had no way to tell how well the work had been completed.
