Fantastic service and fair pricing. This is a company that really cares about solving people's problems, not just trying to squeeze profit out of them. Allen came out to service my HVAC when the heat wouldn't come on. He was thorough, honest, professional, friendly, and insisted on cleaning up a mess that wasn't even his fault. I told him that I like to do as much as I can myself, so once he figured out what the problem was he walked me through exactly how to fix it and then he helped me troubleshoot later in the evening via text message.

avoid avoid avoid avoid!!!! northstar plumbing scheduled an appointment in big bear with a week's notice and my husband drove hours up the mountain to meet them. they cancelled the appointment 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive. the man on the phone was rude, condescending, and basically told me to shove it--that they can "reschedule for another date."if you want to use a company with a call center, horrible customer service, and no accountability - then use them. otherwise, go elsewhere.
I saw a review about North Star Heating and Air Conditioning Services on Nextdoor, they came highly recommended. I initially did an online appointment and moments after that I got a phone call from the office admin/manager. She was very polite, she listened to my concerns, she scheduled me in right away. The owner of North Star Heating came out within the next 24/48 hours to check out my AC Unit, which I knew what the issue was because I previously had used EMS AC Repair company that First American Home warranty company sent out, EMS Technicians are all inexperience duds and they are a rip off!North Star Heating AC is the Best! I highly recommend them, they are all professional, very knowledgeable and prices are competitive. The HVAC Technicians came in knowing exactly what to do, they did the AC repairs, checked to make sure the system was cooling properly before they left. They kept me informed of the repairs front the start and finish of job.Thanks Northstar, I will be using them for any future repairs.
