They are probably a really good company, I've personally never used them, I'm only writing this review because one isn't a good driver. Had one whip infront of me while I was slowing down at a Red Light. Forced me to slam on my brakes, on my loaded gravel truck.
We have been clients of Okanagan Heating for close to 30 years for maintenance and repair calls. Recently, we hired them to install a dual fuel system (furnace and heat pump), a new hot water tank, and replace all the poly-b plumbing in our home with PEX.We met with Nick, the owner, in August. Nick explained the time and cost savings with having the new installations and poly-b removal done at the same time. The quote that he provided us seemed very reasonable. Nick said the job would take five days; we scheduled it for the beginning of October.Prior to the job starting, we also had some communication with the office staff. Both Fawn and Wendi were very helpful and friendly when answering our questions. After the job was completed, they helped us by scheduling the City inspector; providing us with the necessary paperwork to apply for the FortisBC rebate program; and booking the air duct and vent cleaning.As the start date of the project got closer, we were feeling a bit of stress worrying about what condition the walls and ceilings would be in after the plumbing was replaced. However, when we met Cam and Bryant the first day of the job it was clear that they had done this many times before and were very knowledgeable.They were both very friendly and good at explaining what was happening as the days went along. Also, they managed to avoid cutting any unnecessary holes in the drywall which kept the mess to a minimum. The job was finished on time and for the amount initially quoted.This large project gave us a special appreciation for the company and everyone that works there. They made it so easy for us.It is clear that Nick has compiled a team of hard working, knowledgeable and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend Okanagan Heating Air Conditioning and Plumbing and we look forward to many more years of working with them.
