RECOMMENDATION: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!SALES REP DISASTER: the guy only cared about making a sale, refused to provide adequate information about units or rebate programs. Not his job, he says. Sold me something that wasn't good enough to get any rebates.INSTALLATION DISASTER: They had to return at least 8 times to fix problems with their installation. Three different thermostats with several adjustments each, outside icing up after first freeze + install outside sensor they forgot, the unit ran on emergency heat all first winter resulting in huge electricity bill, two drainage pumps, and the unit always sits in a puddle of water which did not happen with the old unit that they replaced.DOUBLE BILLING: Demand double payment, for something that is included in the original invoice. First threatened to refuse to honor warranty. Now refusing to honor the maintenance contract they signed.
Metal craft did a complete heating and cooling replacement in our house. The products are Lennox, very reputable brands. The installation crew were very respectful of our home inside and out, very clean and attentive to maintaining that cleanliness throughout the project. Each of the technicians was very good about explaining the process for replacing the units. During both the removal and installation the technicians were very aware of their work space and walls, doors, fixtures, etc. in the house which provided for seamless transition with no related damages. Any messes created from retrofitting the new systems was cleaned immediately providing for a safe work space. This also included their staging area on the driveway. We also had the ducting cleaned and sealed before the installation. The cost versus the improvement in air flow was significant. Our family is so happy with our new system which has been operating for about three weeks. This company from the top down demonstrates a business that cares about its customer service, technical expertise, high quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, response time awareness and honest truthful interactions. If you are thinking about hiring a company for your heating and cooling needs, Metal Craft should be your first stop and if you are like me, it will be your last stop for addressing any of your HVAC needs. The duct cleaning and sealing process impressed, clearly a well thought out methodology proven through tested and applied experience. The technician, while especially skilled and thoughtful, presented the tasks he would perform, explaining thoroughly, and answering any questions. He worked diligently while being mindful of our home environment, ensuring minimal interruption of my day. In fact, I found the technician extremely pleasant to work with.The original estimator explained the process, what to expect, worked with me to manage any possible discounts, and they were reflected in the quote. The best part was the amazing difference that it made for our old’ish ducts. Overall, I would recommend this company and its service to close family and friends. ??????????
