I had a great experience with Long Beach Heating & Air. My technician, Mark, did a fantastic job—he was very thorough with his troubleshooting and took the time to clearly explain the issues my AC unit was having. I really appreciated that he walked me through a few different options instead of just giving me a quick fix. His professionalism and knowledge gave me a lot of confidence in the service. Whitney did an outstanding job. Unfortunately, we used another vendor to install a new nest thermostat in that technician messed up the wiring. Whitney was able to correct everything and we ended up with a new more compatible thermostat. I should’ve called HBHA first!
I feel like I got SCAMMED honesty. Just to clean my a/c filter estimated price was 350 and 110 just to show up and tell me this information. The unit cost around 800. If they want any customers, prices should reflect that. I was dissatisfied and disappointed.
If we could give repairman Mario six stars, we would! We’ve used this company twice, and both experiences were top-notch. This week, Mario saved us during an extreme heat wave, accurately diagnosing our malfunctioning HVAC unit in minutes and doing an immediate onsite repair. We worried that our older HVAC had failed completely, and were relieved that with a quick switch out of the capacitor, Mario had it up and humming again. Mario was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. He also replaced our thermostat, clearly explaining the relative strengths and limitations of the various units he had on hand. The charges were fair and honest. The office staff are also very helpful, offering warm, personalized service over the phone. We will definitely call this company whenever we need help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mario!
