Tired of enercare and found markham heating. Vijay was really nice and informative and made the process of changing to a tankless water heater easy. Mitchell was also very knowledgeable and overall great guy. He did a fantastic job and now we got endless hot water! 100% recommended.
It was a very cold day and my furnace suddenly stopped working properly. After calling four different companies, I decided to go with Markham Heating and Air Conditioning and I’m very glad I did.There were two main reasons for my decision. First, Vijay, the owner and manager, immediately asked whether I needed temporary electric heating and offered to provide it if needed. I didn’t end up needing it because I have a fireplace and the room temperature was still manageable, but the fact that they proactively checked and offered support really showed their care and responsibility.Second, the technician Mitchell arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue, and provided a clear and thoughtful furnace replacement plan. Throughout the process, they adjusted and refined the installation plan several times to make sure everything was done properly.Mitchell and Tom worked efficiently and professionally during the installation. After everything was completed, Vijay came back again to personally check the work.Most importantly, they gave me real peace of mind during a stressful situation. I truly appreciate their professionalism, communication, and care. Highly recommended.
They’ve serviced/maintained our furnace, A/C and gas insert fireplace for over a decade plus. Happy to have used them to install a new tankless water heater + water softener system.We obtained multiple quotes for the work and they were the only company to send an actual technician for that initial step. When the scope of the work decreased, they were the only company who maintained contact after we decided to only focus on the water heater replacement and delay the furnace + a/c for the future.Vijay and Mitchell coordinated the water softener installers in order to have both installed efficiently at the same time.No pressure sales and extremely knowledgeable technicians.
Simply stated, this company is great. We had a no-heat situation. The technician (Mitchell) that showed up soon after our phone call diagnosed the problem within minutes. He's good, really good. Unfortunately, a repair was unrealistic so a new furnace was in order. Their schedule was jam packed but they rearranged things to install a new furnace two days later. They even left us with two space heaters to tide us over until the new furnace was operational. The final result is a clean, finished look and there was no garbage left behind. Mitchell and the owner took the time to introduce themselves and made sure we were satisfied. Great experience (if one can have a great experience with a furnace install!).P.S. A special thanks to Mitchell for having patience with me as I asked many, many questions.
