I recently had One Touch Heat and Cool install an LG mini split at my home, and I couldn't be more impressed! The staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They came fully prepared and got the job done seamlessly. I would very highly recommend One Touch Heat and Cool to anyone looking for top-notch HVAC service!
I’m really not the type to write bad reviews, but I feel this one is important to share so others know what to expect. In the summer of 2022, One Touch came to install three 12,000 BTU LG mini-splits, a new electrical entrance, baseboard heaters throughout the home, and blown-in insulation in the attic. They also removed our old furnace, piping, and the large heavy cast-iron radiators. Everything seemed fine at first, and the crew was friendly and hardworking genuinely nice people. However, not long after the installation, all three mini-splits started tripping their breakers. When I called for service, instead of sending their licensed electrician, they sent back the same labourers who did the install. Unfortunately, while they were here the breakers didn’t trip, so they said there was nothing they could do. Fast-forward three years later, and I’m still running to the basement to reset breakers every time I turn a unit on.The bigger problem showed up the following summer. The upstairs of my home was extremely humid sometimes reaching 85% humidity. I thought it was just how the house was built, but the issue continued into the next summer too. This year, when I decided to install a heat recovery ventilator, the technician who came out took one look in my attic and immediately asked who did my insulation. When I said “One Touch,” he explained that they had completely covered every single attic baffle and air vent. My attic hadn’t been breathing for three years. Because of that mistake, I had black mold throughout my attic and ended up paying about $3,000 out of pocket to have it all corrected.Since fixing their insulation work, the humidity issues are completely gone.To be clear they’re genuinely nice guys, and I don’t believe any of this was intentional. But it’s clear that while their intentions were good, their attention to detail and understanding of proper installation practices just wasn’t where it needed to be.
Ulderic and team are the most professionals I have worked with in the city of Moncton. They are true to their words to get things done professionally and in a timely manner. Great quality workmanship. Thanks for the installation of mini-splits on our building. Much appreciated, Owners of Manoir Highfield.
THIS COMPANY HELPED ME WITH MY PROBLEM (and solved it) OVER THE PHONE (free of charge) THANK YOU ONE TOUCH, you have my future businessTwo days ago, I called another heat pump company that I had purchased two heat pumps from in the past, and they wouldn’t even book a service call without me giving them my credit card information, for them to charge me ($140) in advance!! I questioned that “policy” and said that I don’t give out my credit card information over the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he would call me when he returned, I’m still waiting!! (NOTE: All our previous heat pump work was paid in full at the time of installation or service)
I went with them for my heat pump (mini split) since the owner took the time to explain everything and the installers were very professional. had a few quotes done before and he was the only one who really spent the time to show me everything and did a good follow up.
