Greg and Michael run a tight ship! And they're honest! First trip, Mike came over and did a complete cleaning of our previously poorly maintained on demand water heater (Vision and RPR recommended complete replacement for 7k). One stating a cleaning would likely cause it to stop working completely. Guess I'm gambling on that, because it works great so far post-cleaning. Then a few days later, Mike came back to install a new fireplace blower motor, since the old one was super noisy, and wasn't blowing air.That job was 1/4 the price of the two quotes I got from the aforementioned companies. Stick with small biz and you'll save money not paying big company overheads. Even though the others are great companies too, who doesn't like to save money? Mike is very personable as well, but I'd rather not see him in my house again!!! Unless of course it's for my next checkup. My new go-to guys for HVAC maintenance and repair! THANKS!
When I texted Greg Sunday evening with an urgent heating problem he contacted Michael right away to come in first thing Monday morning. Michael was amazing, thorough, efficient, polite, super kind, and got the job done at a very reasonable price. I felt cared for and taken care of with 100% confidence. Our AC would not start on the Aug. 1 holiday weekend with guests arriving within days. We called CRUX and Michael arrived on the holiday Monday - quickly diagnosed the problem, serviced the unit while here, and had us up and running in no time. Excellent service and knowledge. Hats off to Greg & his team at Crux Mechanical. I was without heat for over a month waiting on the original company to repair their error, after much frustration I decided to reach out to a different company. Upon calling Greg, he sprang into action and managed to get some men out to my place to install a new furnace just in time for Christmas. I would highly recommend Crux to anyone!
Woke up to find our furnace was not working. Called Crux and two very professional young men arrived before lunch and within the hour did the necessary repair to the ignitor and checked other aspects of the furnace to insure it was all in good order. Very satisfied with this company.
