I have been a home owner in Savannah for 50 yrs and have dealt with several HVAC contractors in Savannah. I have found that Byrd is not only the most competent contractor but also the most honorable. They are the only ones that have been able to keep my Mitsubishi splits from dripping water on my floors. While their bid for a new unit may not be the cheapest it is the most honest of what the customer needs to comply with codes. (I wish that I had used them rather than the cheap bidder for one of my units.) Finally the fan on the outdoor unit Of a top of the line Carrier heat pump broke for the forth time in 11 years. (It was out of warranty.) They replaced it free of charge ($1800). That’s what I call exceptional service, certainly more than I expected.

My air conditioner stopped and of course, I was expecting guests! Don came quickly and got it running for the weekend. He was so nice and respectful that I let him in the house without being there as I had to work. Don took care of everything, cleaned up and put everything back. So nice to have someone and a company who you can trust!
Byrd heating and air has been servicing out hvac unit for years and do an amazing job. They are prompt and personable with their clients. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a new hvac company.
The service man was more than excellent, his work was excellent the only problem I have is the price I paid about $340 for him to just pump some water through a pipe because my air conditioner water was stuck. He did offer me other solutions which I could not do. It was because it was after hours but nobody told me that . Although I should have gotten maintenance and I will be getting maintenance from them again is that would've covered it to begin with. If it had not been for the price I would've given this definitely a five
